Nasty. Floor, smell, people. Walked in. walked around for 30 seconds. Walked right out. The place was so gross I could even look around.

I’ve been to many 99 cents only stores, having lived among many in California. I was excited for this one to open so close to home. Such convenience, besides the great Target just around the corner. The look and feel is nothing to write home about. It’s just as plain and dirty as every other 99 cent only store, and worse off than a dollar tree. But simple groceries make them stand a little apart. I recently realized it’s not actually $ 0.99, but many products are $ 0.9999, and their cash registers automatically round this up to $ 1. One customer’s order rang up perfectly as the expected $ 0.99 for a couple items, but not my items. I was checking out with simple food items that don’t have tax, and noticed this happened on some food items before but never brought it up. This time, I inquired and the cashier just said that’s how it is and let me talk to some other person, possibly some team leader or something. They helped get me a corporate line to call about it, while another seemingly cashier guy started arguing with me about it. He kept going on about how it’s simple math: that if I have 99 it’s going to round to a dollar. To me, just because they surreptitiously tack on a .0099 does not automatically mean they can charge me another .0001 cent without telling me any reason for it other than«oh that’s just how you round in math.» Doing so is simply slimy and anti-consumer, taking advantage of their falsely advertised prices to skim additional fractions of a penny without notice. If they’re going to charge $ 0.9999 and I give them $ 1, I want my change. This cashier guy was talking to me like I’m stupid. Things like this add up to the benefit of the corporation, not their customers. Other stores actually round down. This business’ practice of taking advantage of customers with misleading prices and arguing about it is disingenuous. Thankfully, I can and will take my business elsewhere.

this is the first time i came in this store location. It’s smaller than the one in golf links i believe. Everytime i set foot on one of their stores i feel like i needed each and every one of the things they sell here. This one is a bit crowded too, people just stopping in the middle of the aisle with no regard to other people like they own it. Knowing that this place is crazy, they only have one register open and long lines tend to pile up. having said that, don’t expect high class products from this place. It’s cheap so you get what you pay for. But if you’re on a budget and just wanted to get by, this place is for you. Carry a basket or none at all so you wouldn’t get things you really don’t need. Have fun!

I shop this location every Sunday. In addition to getting the Sunday paper for a buck(half the regular price), I can pick up things for work lunches, breakfast, produce, frozen foods and a wide variety of over the counter items I really cannot afford at a regular store: antibiotic ointment, toothpaste, scissors, detergent, etc. The store is clean and the employees, for the most part, are friendly and helpful This store is a God-send for the working poor. I do pay close attention to some items, however; they do sell some items for a dollar that I can get in regular stores for less. Over all, though, great store! I will continue to shop there.

Normally I hate going to this store, the lines are long and every cracked out person is in there getting 100 ding dongs or something. It is a great place to get reading glasses and some cleaning supplies but not all. Wednesday night not too late I stopped by to pick up some dishes about 8:00. there was no line, OMG the line gods are never with me, but that night they were. No crack addict in front of me. The Cashier was so nice and helped me wrap up the dishes. So I guess the best time to go is on Thursday about 8.
