This place is a hoot. It is a dollar store merged with an Asian gift store and the music is a loud Mexican radio station. I loved it. Way funny. Typical dollar store offering. I did find some nice plastic boxes that were super cheap. And the usual other fair. Got what I needed. I think it would be a hoot to take friends and visitors. Nice gal at cash register.

This is not a name brand chain«99 Cent Store.» but a mom and pop dollar store. Some things are not a dollar. This place is well organized and actually clean. It is not as junky as a real 99 Cent Store. If you are into cheap junk, give this place a try.

I’ve been here a couple of times just for fun and although I have managed to buy some goodies such as baking supplies and other Asian kitchenware… this store is a little misleading because it’s not exactly a 99 cent store. Many items exceed 99 cents … For many items in the store I’ll prefer to spend just a little more to get better quality then have to buy the lower cheaper version several times. I do like the lucky bamboo they sell here though! Reminds me of home :)

Walk into this bazaar of weird, wonderful, far flung finds, and the chemical smell of ‘made in China’ will perforate your nostrils as soon as you enter. Breathe deep and bring it! It’s like the Wal-Mart version of World Market — there’s a little bit of everything here, from all over, it’s cheap and it’s not made to last, but boy is it fun to buy! Items made in China and Mexico are most well represented. Here is a list of a few things they sell: 1) PARTYSUPPLIESHQ Bows, ribbons, wrapping paper, decorations, signs 2) DECORATIVEITEMSFORTHEHOME Candles, vases, faux flowers 3) FABRICS All kinds, all colors 4) MAKEUP and NAILPOLISH Made in China, beware — but cool to look at 5) KITCHENSUPPLIES Pots, pans, again — made in China, beware 6) RANDOMECCLECTICA Vintage inspired wall clocks in all their glorious plastic prettiness, cool beaded chandeliers in cartoon colors, very throwback. I’ve been here three times and I still haven’t made it down all the aisles, so there are many more finds than I’ve listed above. My random recommendation? First hit up the buffet at Shere Punjab next door, and then head here while you’re digesting the delishiousness. It’s a combo made in heaven, like peanut butter and chocolate, each one makes the other even better.

This is quite the discount store! They totally do have the most random things you could think of… from cleaning and school supplies, to party décor, to socks, to floral arrangements and vases. The selection is vast, however, this is not truly a 99 cent store, unless I’ve totally missed the definition of «99 cents» Maybe every price ends with 99 cents? I should probably check my receipt again. The short of it is that I don’t think I saw a single item that was actually 99 cents, therefore it’s not truly a 99 cent store, so I’m knocking a star for being misleading and for all dust bunnies all over the store. At the end of the day, it’s still a discount with plenty of strangely awesome deals.

I’m a sucker for a good dollar store. While not truly a dollar store since things were over a dollar, it was a fun store with a lot to offer. The most unusual items I noticed here was a large selection of very cool bamboo plants and ceramic pots. We bought some bamboo as a gift for about $ 16. It was so cool looking, I wished we could buy one for ourselves, but I didn’t think it would travel well back to California.

This place is awesome, they have the most random stuff! They’ve got one side of the store that’s your typical run-of-the-mill dollar store. Basic groceries, supplies, toys, etc. Then on the other side of the store the sell things for varying prices. Crossing over to this side is like walking through the wardrobe into Narnia! I go in here just to look around at the crazy things they sell. The store is owned and operated by an asian family and they sell tons of asian goods. Things like bonzai trees, plant pottery, vases, jewelry, anything you can think of. They’ve also got tools and appliances on this side as well! Check this place out when you need your fix of cheap randomness.
