So I’m gonna give this place two stars. I go into places with an automatic five stars in my head. Kinda like those middle school teachers who say that every student starts the semester with an A+. I’m very teacherly in that way. So five stars to start with. Minus four stars because of the hookers they hire to work there who know nothing about fashion or shoes in general. They look like they came here on a work visa from Mexico. Plus one star for a nice pair of shoes that I saw there. Minus one star because it wasn’t in stock. Plus one star because the prices. Like every other metrosexual male, I love shoes. I’ve been shopping at Aldo for quite a few years. Lately though, more ghetto people have been frequenting this place and the styles are getting a bit pedestrian. In other words, it’s going downhill. Then again, this is Tucson so things are like that. Usually when you walk into this place, the girls working there will greet you but that’s about it. If you look like you have money, then it’s a whole nother story. The service is better if you’re a woman too. If you’re a guy, then you’ll probably be treated like I was: they’ll ignore you and look at you like you’re a creeper. I am a little bit creepy though so I’ll give them that one. One time I was the only person in there and it took fifteen minutes to try on a shoe. The girl working was too busy texting and always wandering around in the back. I could’ve easily walked out with an arm full of shoes and nobody would’ve noticed. Tisk tisk to that gal; she should know better and so should management. The way this store is managed, I wouldn’t be surprised if the manager was Jan Brewer. Things are a mess. All in all, two stars! Stay vigilant people. –Joey Rockafella
