I’ve been working with these guys for many months now. Overall they are a good company but there are some issues, which is why I’m giving them 2 stars.
So far I’m happy with their services. It’s been hard for me to find good handymen in Tucson, and these guys are better than some of the other ones I’ve hired and/​or interviewed, although I would say my entire overall experience working with everyone here is «average».
They do good work for fair prices. There have been many «oopsies» and «whoops» moments, where the handymen make mistakes but nothing too bad.
There have also been times where somebody forgot to call me when they said they would and I had to call them to follow up. Or once a handyman didn’t come even though he had been scheduled days in advance, and there was some kind of mix up in the office and he didn’t show up. So things like this have happened– but things like this have happened with every other handyman I’ve hired in the past– things like people not calling me back or someone forgetting to show up and/​or handymen making mistakes when doing repairs.
However, I call them back because overall they take care of issues and do a good job usually.
When they do make a mistake they fix it. How a company handles the mistakes made is very important! This company took care of the mistakes they made which was really, really important! Not everyone does this, and how a company/​contractor handles an issue when something goes wrong is really important! Some companies I’ve worked with in the past have gotten mad at me for something THEY did wrong and refused to take any accountability! So when a company accepts that they made a mistake and then fixes it quickly and responsibly, that is always a good sign in my book.
I’ve hired other companies before who did not fix something they did wrong and not fix things they broke in my house nor did they even apologize for what they did– however, these guys did, which is why I keep calling them back. I know I can trust that they will take care of the issue for me.
I will keep hiring them unless they give me a reason not to.
Overall I do recommend these guys– just remember to be a bit patient and follow up if you need to, in case they forget to and when they make mistakes, just to let them know so that they can fix it.
