Arizona Moving Service

I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. The owner of the company Dan displays some mental issues I am truly concerned about. Upon researching further I found that Arizona Moving service has not paid taxes in years!!! Consumer beware!!!

I hired Arizona Moving Service in June, 2014 to help me move my household to storage. Carl and his assistant were both professional and friendly. In addition to taking apart furniture and loading/​moving/​unloading it as well as boxes, bikes, and other cumbersome items, Carl helped me build boxes and plastic-​wrap items. Both men were very careful wrapping my items to protect them during the move, as well as preparing them for long term storage.
They arrived on time, they were efficient in handling my move, and I will definitely call them first when I need help moving in Tucson again.

The company came to my house to move my family to our new home. I had asked them to be mindful of the new house as we had just renovated for the last 4 weeks. They proceed to put a number of dents in the walls going up the stairs and at the landing.
While I was bothered, I was very angry when I went to use my dryer and it was broken. We called a service repair company and they told me that a mount that holds the motor of the dryer was broken. We were told that this was only possible from it being dropped or improperly lifted. This cost $ 125 for repair. We have attempted on multiple occasions to discuss with the company however they refuse to engage in a conversation about the damages. We were told once that we would receive a call back however that never happened. This dryer was working the morning of the move as I personally was drying clothes and apologized if it was hot when they arrived.
When my fiancé called again in a final attempt to discuss the matter and was told «We are not going to pay you, so stop calling» and then proceeded to hang up on him.
Carl and his son, who appeared to be hung over, were the two movers that day. They were unprofessional throughout the move, complaining about moving things upstairs to the second story (which I made very clear it was a two story house when I made the appointment) and the son was playing very inappropriate rap music with curse words and racist slurs loudly from his cell phone that was in his pocket.
I would never use this company again. Looking back, I took the most affordable way out however I would gladly pay more for a company that is professional and does not even ask if it’s okay to drag your BBQ through your living room…

My experience was August 2012. I would give zero stars if it were an option.
Initially, the representative from the company that I spoke with (on multiple occasions) was very helpful and friendly. I only need Arizona Moving Service to help load a U-​haul with items that were already packed in storage. I scheduled their services a month in advance and called to confirm two days before my move date. On the day of, I called 30 minutes out from the scheduled time to find out if the movers were running on time. I was informed that the movers required 30 more minutes at their present location and that they were in Benson at that time which would require an additional 40 minutes of delay for commute back to Tucson.
Okay. No problem. I understand that moving/​packing etc must be flexible. However, 10 minutes before the newly appointed time (30 mins after the initially scheduled time) I was contacted by the rep and informed that the crew was now running an hour and a half behind schedule and would still require the additional 40 minutes to commute back to Tucson. The rep proceeded to vent to me about the employee Carl who was presently in Benson and whom apparently «always does this.» Admittedly, I raised my voice and the rep snapped, «I’m not sending the crew» and then promptly hung up on me.
Desperate, (because I was on a tight schedule to move 2000 miles) I called back and calmly tried to resolve the situation. The rep then informed me that he would not send the crew because in the past, when this happens and they send the crew way later than expected, customers end up refusing payment. I explained my situation and that I’m an honest person but that the worst that might happen is that I’d write a review online. The rep then yelled at me, «F*ck you! I’m definitely not going to send a crew if you’re going to write a review online!» He then turned his mouth away from the phone and began speaking to someone else (obviously not hanging the phone up on purpose) and said, «That f*cking b*itch is going to give us a bad review! F*ck her! Stupid b*itch.» He then hung up.
This is the most unprofessional company I’ve ever encountered, moving company or not. I immediately called other Tucson moving companies to help me pack the truck and each one asked who’d shafted me. NONE of them (three different companies) had ever heard of Arizona Moving Service. I lucked out and found a professional company to assist me within the hour. I highly recommend EZ Move for your moving needs.
