I have visited this Asian Brows location in Foothill Mall a few times and it seems everytime I go, their new employees get worse at what they do. The lighting is so bright it is hard to see how well they do on light hair until one is outside. I had to repluck and shape the best I could and felt I wasted $ 11. Not to mention. no English… I will now wait until a trip to Phoenix to get mine done.

Not only did the lady do a bad job shaping my eyebrows, but she cut me multiple times! I should have known she wasn’t going to do a good job when it seemed she was in a bad mood doing the previous 2 ladies’ brows. So dissappointed. Trust me, it’s not worth it.

Annoyed that they are supposed to open at 10 am, got here at 10:05 am and it was closed… Girl walked up and I had to wait 10 minutes for her to set up.

I just had my eyebrows done, I have very blonde brows, almost white. I came home and looked in my magnifying mirror. The inside part of my eyebrow at the top still had fine hairs and still some longer hairs in the brows. She did trim them so I don’t know why some of the hairs were longer. I was never given a mirror to see what had been done before leaving as other salons do. i had to finish the job when I got home. Very disappointed, a waste of 12.00. I should have believed the reviews I read before going there.

Went there on 03/22/2015 — there was one person working with no clients waiting. The employer was very curt, short and inattentive. Not once was I asked how I wanted my eyebrows shaped, she finished quite quickly only to be asked to redo some areas. Upon finishing there was no cream that was applied upon request. I have had my eyebrows threaded multiple times before and this service was by far very sub standard.

So here’s my issue. Most of the staff here don’t know how to or don’t spend the time to shape brows. I’m sorry, but I’m a busy lady. I barely have time to feed myself, never mind get my brows threaded every one or two weeks. I squeeze in the time to get them done literally by leaving class 10 minutes early so I can stop here on my way to work. So by the time I actually have those10 minutes to get my eyebrows done, I need to get them DONE. Like, SHAPED. And the ladies here don’t shape. They spend 30 – 60 seconds cleaning up stray hairs, leaving me with the bushy, uneven caterpillars. I’m like 99% sure that in the first psychology class I took, I learned that in some animals, operant conditioning is equally effective, if not augmented, if the reinforcement is offered irregularly. This is why I keep coming back to this place. One or two of the staff can not only thread, but they can also shape. And I keep coming back hoping. 90% of the time I am disappointed. Why do I keep torturing myself by going here? Seriously, does anyone know a good place in Tucson to get eyebrows threaded?

First time ever doing asian eyebrow threading. and this place left a great impression. The lady was fast. I mean she was the only one working. but she was able to thread my eyebrows as quickly and painlessly as she could, and she got me in and out of the door in 10 minutes or so as soon as I sat in that chair. Results are definitely longer lasting than traditional tweezing or waxing. For $ 10.00 its so worth it IMO and I’ll be back as soon as I get a chance. I’ll just have to kinda suck it up though, as I’m not going to lie it definitely hurts more than waxing!

This may be one of the worst pains I have ever felt. Every time I’m here getting my eyebrows threaded, feeling the pain in my stomach, I say to myself«I’m going back to waxing.» But I always come back. Always. These girls leave your eyebrows beautiful, to the point I don’t even need to tell them how I want them. They just make them thick, long, and gorgeous. The women working here are very quiet, reserved, and don’t talk much. I prefer that over someone chatting away while I’m trying really hard not to cry over the pain my body is experiencing.

I’ve been coming here since they opened and have told so many people about them. It’s all been perfection until my last trip. I hadn’t been in about 6 weeks so my eyebrows were admittedly bushier than normal… well, when all was said and done they had been shaped horribly. One is pretty thick with straight lines(how I like it!) while the other is thinner and roundish. While I’ve always been told«your eyebrows are sisters, not twins» they look more like distant cousins 5 times removed. I’ve gotta let them grow out again and I’ll be going back to give this place one last chance(although I refuse to let the lady who destroyed my eyebrows do it again, I’ll only go when someone else is working). We’ll see how it goes in a few weeks… til then I’ll be filling my eyebrows in and hoping nobody comments on their non matching shapes.

I won’t to go anywhere else to do my eyebrows. They always leave them just right. I hate waxing because it irritates your skin and other place sometimes leave your eyebrows too thin. This is definitely the place to go! They shape eyebrows beautifully!

The first time I came here, my eyebrows turned out great! Just the way I prefer to have them. It was nice and even. The shape was also very nice. I grew out my eyebrows for about a month since I was so busy and did not have time to get them done. I thought I finally found the spot for me to go to for eyebrow threading. So the 2nd time around I came back here and I was disappointed. I just asked for a clean up and she really cleaned them up alright. It was so thin I was so unhappy. I had to color in my eyebrows for about a month to make them look thicker, since it takes a while for my eyebrows to grow out. I’m still debating whether or not I should come back. I probably will give it another shot though maybe it was an off day. Hopefully it doesn’t happen again!

i’m taking a medication that doesn’t allow for waxing my eyebrows. i had to find an alternative and remembered seeing threading in another mall. i looked this place up and went for the first time today. it was amazing. this nepalese lady was so quick and it really was a lot better than waxing. i didn’t have to brace myself in anticipation of wax being ripped off my face and possibly having skin attached to it. it’s like… fast plucking! haha. the price was very inexpensive. i’m definitely going back! take jen w’s advice: cash tip only!

I’m a low-maintenance kind of gal. I don’t wear make-up every day and I don’t regularly pay anyone to do things to my nails or face. I have had my eyebrows waxed exactly twice, and both times I was talked into it by friends, and both times I hated the results. Hated, I tell you. Both times I felt like the waxing changed the shape of my eyebrows enough that my face didn’t look quite like me anymore. So there’s my background with eyebrow-related haps. A couple of years ago, a coworker of mine told me about eyebrow threading. I became fascinated. They pluck your hairs out with threads that they hold in their teeth?! What?! She gave me the card of her gal, but I never went and eventually lost it. I saw this threading place in the Foothills mall and thought«Huh. Eyebrow threading. I’m still kind of curious about that.» The price list is posted, so when I saw that eyebrows are only $ 10, I signed up on a whim. Let me just say, I did not expect to like the results. This was really much more a curiosity about the experience. I wanted to see just how weird it was. I figured my eyebrows would grow back. Down in the chair I sat, and in only a few minutes I was done. It was less painful than waxing, for sure. It was quick, the lady was efficient, and when it was done, I was happily surprised to see that my eyebrows looked like always, only cleaner and prettier. The left eyebrow hurt worse than the right, but not very much. I liked it so much that I posted about it and got a bunch of friends interested. So some months later(toldja, low maintenance), we had a girls night involving eyebrow threading and dinner. So, I’ve been twice now. The second time it was not quite as amazing, different gal doing the threading, but I was still quite happy with the result.(The first time I’d have given it 6 stars if I could and the second time 4.5, so that warrants a star on this review.) My girls’ night ladies want to go again soon, and I will. They offer punch cards, so if you go grab one of those on your way out. They also do bikini«waxing» with a sugar wax stuff, and mehndi/henna tattoos, neither of which have I tried yet. I think I will try the mehndi next time.

Very fast — virtually painless. I think it was $ 15. Don’t hesitate to stop by —

shaved off & drawed on, tatooed(in purple no less) on, overplucked mini arches… for all tucson has going against itself in the way of eyebrows, we at least have this place. My threader didn’t either over pluck or under pluck… it was just right. Despite any aprehension i may have felt about trying someone new and having it done in a mall, I left very happy.

I started getting my eyebrows threaded here last summer. When I finally discovered it, I thought it was a new business but the lady said they’d been open for about a year. I can’t believe I missed it all that time! It’s located right next to Party City in case you go(and you should!). It’s kind of a wierd storefront — more like an alcove as there isn’t a door. It’s all open so people walking by can see you in the chair getting threaded. You get used to it, though. I actually never think about it much. What I really like about this place is you don’t have to make an appointment and it’s super quick. Even if you’ve never had it done and your eyebrows are a mess, it only takes a few minutes. I’ve had my kids with me a couple of times so trust me, that means it’s extremely fast & they’ve been able to tolerate waiting the entire 6 minutes for me. I don’t know if it’s just me but the threading doesn’t last any longer than waxing.

Asian Eyebrow Threading is a little storefront inside the Foothills Mall. It is $ 10 for eyebrows, $ 7 for upper lip and lower lip/chin area, and $ 30 for your whole face. Honestly, I don’t know how it works, but it is less painful than waxing. A super talented Indian woman rolls a thread(she looks like she is going to floss your teeth) and pulls out the hair. You do have to hold down your eye for a couple of spots, but otherwise, it takes less than ten minutes for your whole face. The shape of my eyebrows is great, and there are not any red marks immediately after the threading. The woman there trims your eyebrow hair a little bit also. Wow. Only cash tips.
