I went yesterday for brow service. I have very thick brows. I had Let them grow back so I could get a fabulous arch. I have the brows that people get tattoed on or draw in – when the brow person is an artist. These ladies were disappointing. The First Lady didn’t know what to do when I showed her what I had in mind so she referred me to senior. They said«your brows can’t be like that. Yours don’t grow that way… BLAH blah blah» that is code for«I don’t know how to Shape your brows properly. I can only thread.» The senior did my brows while the other two ladies hovered over me watching her work. When she felt She was finished she gave me a mirror. I was like(in my mind)…what? Is she BLIND? She cannot possibly Think she has completed Her task!!. This is NOT sharp, clean, finished look I hoped for. So I asked Her to alter it. The second time I looked. I knew they were Not brow artists. I just said let me Leave well enough alone. And I left as it was obvious they couldn’t do what I needed. They were Just Threaders. Since I went for brow service and they are incompetent on the art of Brows… they get one star. If you need some other thread service That Requires no skill other than hair removal, maybe they will be fine.

Update!!! Yes, I still frequent this location! Have you gone yet? It’s $ 10 for just eyebrow threading and they still do an awesome job! Very gentle and professional. My eyebrows look great! Go give them a try!

This is the BEST place for eyebrow threading. I live in Phoenix for school and come home every two weekends and I wait until I come home to get my eyebrows done here because they’re quick, clean, and they always make the perfect shape for my eyebrows. Love this place and highly recommend it!

I used to go to the one on the south side in the spectrum and I loved it. Always took me in right away and left my eyebrows looking amazing. I stopped waxing because it hurt more and my eyebrows didn’t come out as good. I loved to the east side of town and was happy to find this one over here! There was a wait of about 15 minutes which is rare but it’s because the two women ahead of me were getting like their entire faces threaded. They did a great job and this is literally the only place I trust with my eyebrows(:

I was waxing my own eyebrows for a while because they grow back super fast and I was spending way too much money at wax/threading salons. BUTTHEN I completed butchered my eyebrows one night and had to let them grow for about a month and half. And a month and half for MY eyebrows meant thick, unkempt caterpillars. I couldn’t trust myself to wax again, so after looking at a few different places on Unilocal,I decided to try Asian Eyebrow Threading, and I am so happy I did! She didn’t take too long with the customer before me, so I was worried that she wasn’t spending enough time cleaning the brows. But no, she’s just that effective :) she listened to my story and cleaned up my brows, only touching up the areas that still needed to grow. Plus this was the most painless threading session I’ve ever had. Not completely painless lol but better than ones I’ve tried before. I’m so impressed, 5 stars! TLDR This place is quick, gets the job done and has great service :)

I just moved to Tucson because I go to college here now and I’ve been with the same eyebrow lady since 8th grade back home in California. I read the reviews for here and after being so nervous I came because I don’t trust anyone with my eyebrows. but I couldn’t not get them done. my eyebrows turned out great. my friend didn’t really like hers but I love mine . better than I expected.

Just moved to Tucson and was looking for a place for eyebrow threading and was impressed with a very clean job. Pricing is reasonable

Visited for the second time. I expected a wait since I went around noon on a Saturday, but like last time, it was absolutely empty! I had a different lady this time, and again, the threading was painful, but the results are perfect. The shape is just what I wanted, clean and natural. I was in and out in less than ten minutes. Next time I’ll try to remember to take some ibuprofen before I go.

I thought I’d try this place and I will not return. The esthetician applied too much pressure, which has caused a lot of redness and irritation. Granted it is normal to experience slight discomfort, but not pain. The girl kept breaking thread, which I attribute to high pressure than what is needed. I am very red still a few hours after, and my brows are uneven. :(

Very clean and well kept establishment. I came in at noon on a Friday and was taken right away. The threading was short and sweet. I would recommend this place if you need a clean up on your brows but perhaps not if you need to alter the shape. Overall: Great, no nonsense service. Will definitely be back.

I’ve gotten theaded in California before but never in Tucson. I decided to try this place out because it’s fairly close to my house. The staff is fairly nice and the place is well kept. I got my full face done with the exception of my eyebrows which I already have someone doing. The experience overall was okay but when I left, I noticed I was bleeding. I had two open wounds by my eye which I wasn’t even told about. I also ended up with some red bruising by my kneck. At the very least I should have at least been told about it. Obviously, I would never go back nor would I recommend it to anyone else. Threading is fantastic, but not at this place.

They did a great job… a little painful but quick. I’ve had threading done in California and Oregon and one experience was horrible and one was great. This salon cleaned my brows well with minimal pain. Granted I did have a lot to get taken off. I’m not from Tucson but if I was I would be a regular.

Great place! I have been going here for years and am rarely disappointed. For the most part, my eyebrows end up flawless. The location on Broadway is very clean and well maintained. The price is also reasonable at $ 10 per threading. Far better than Just Stringz in the Tucson mall. I will never stray from Asian Eyebrow Threading again!

My first experience here was really great, my brows were on point. I’m giving this a 3 because the results are extremely inconsistent. I understand that each technician’s skill sets are different, but the variance is pretty obvious. I came to the location in South Tucson just last night, and there was already a group of people there. This is expected since threading is a great method of getting rid of hairs. I could already tell that the technician was tired since she massaging her ankles and there were also a lot of people waiting. When it was my turn, it was extremely quick. I was kind of irritated because on the sign up sheet, I indicated that I wanted only my brows and my upper lip. I don’t think she took a closer look at the sheet, and she proceeded to thread my entire lower facial area. I stopped her when I realized she was threading more than I wanted. The work was quick and shoddy and I would’ve asked for her to do re-do it and get rid of the strays that were still there, but I didn’t want to bother her doing another lack luster attempt. I went home and cleaned up the strays myself. It was disappointing to say the least. I don’t know where the other ladies’ schedules, but I don’t want to drive around to different Tucson locations to find them. I might end up just making appointments with the owner when she returns, because I’m assuming she will give consistent and great results.

i was going to the asian eyebrow threading located in foothills mall because i work near there on occasion. i found out that they have a sister location located on the east side in the williams center on broadway/craycroft. i love asian threading because it doesn’t pull at my skin. just the hair that i’m trying to remove! the girls are all skilled at their trade. i’ve never had any complaints. they are quick and make sure you’re looking great by the time you leave. one of the greatest things is that they offer a punch card and when you purchase so 9, i believe you get your 10th one free! pretty awesome loyalty program to keep customers coming back.

I keep telling myself I should get my eyebrows threaded, and I finally caved and drove the 30 minutes across town to the asian eyebrow threading. The place is sparse but worth going to, the lady who threads saw me right away and the best part of the whole trip is that it was only 10 bucks! I am so glad I went because threading is so much more gentle on your face than waxing!

Yesterday, I mustered up the courage to try eyebrow threading. I’ve only ever waxed or plucked, so this is a totally new concept for me. I’ve seen this location when I passed through the parking lot to go to the shoe store also in the shopping center(and fine, to eat at the chain«Italian» place in there too). I wasn’t busy yesterday, so I figured, what the hell? I’ll try this out. Upon walking in, you see a very spacious and clean store. It even smelled clean in there. That’s something very important to me at any salon-type of place. So, they already met my first rule of thumb: cleanliness. They weren’t busy, but there was only one person working and she already had a customer. No problem, put your name in the book at the front door, and have a seat. The previous customer was finished in no time, and it was my turn. I probably should have let the threader(I’m not sure what their actual title is) know that it was my first time, because she jumped right in, and the first threading was a little shocking, though not terrible at all. No worse than waxing, but definitely different. She continued to do her thing for maybe two minutes on each brow, and it was all done. She took out some scissors, and got rid of some of the longer hairs in the center of the brow, too. I took a look in the mirror and the result is definitely not what I’m used to. I’m not sure if this type of eyebrow maintenance is just different than waxing because the method has limitations or what, but I didn’t get much of a shape on my brows. They’re definitely clean and neat looking, but there’s no shape to them. I can see how maybe precision in some areas would be hard to do with a thread as opposed to just smearing wax around, so I assume that’s the issue. I’m still not sure how much I like this, though, but I’m definitely going to give it another try(sometimes change takes a while to get used to, afterall). Since I have more knowledge going in, I’ll ask about a little more shape next time, and update my review then. Overall, I liked the experience. I actually liked going into a place that isn’t a manicure/pedicure place, too. It was less hectic and less noisy. The price was fine($ 10 for brows), but bring cash, as you can’t add a tip to your card. And they have a punch card, which is good for a free $ 10 threading after you buy 10.

It’s e x p a n d e d to a third location, which is just another indication their threading is worthy of some glorification. If you are guilty of threading speculation or have qualms about the skin sensation, (not to worry) they offer a commendable transformation. They’ve got my Unilocaly four star nomination. Jubilation.
