Avilla Tanque Verde

My wife and I have lived here since the complex opened about 3 years ago. We have one of the 1000 square foot, 2 bedroom casitas on the back side of the complex. Our yard is about 25 feet wide by 9 feet deep.
The units are gorgeous — laminate wood floors, carpets in the bedroom, large walk-​in closet in the master bedroom, stainless appliances and granite countertops, and full-​size, premium washer and dryer. The complex is quiet and well maintained, with the management responsive and attentive to security and maintenance issues. My only complaint is that they haven’t fixed the light in the pool since it went out shortly after we moved in, which doesn’t make for a very inviting swim in the evenings.
The location is also ideal. It’s halfway between the shopping centers at Tanque Verde/​Sabino Canyon and Catalina Highway/​Tanque Verde. It’s also a five minute walk to the path along the Tanque Verde Wash.
While the lease is a bit more than an apartment, the quiet and upscale amenities make this complex worth considering.
