We moved into a new house that had very few window coverings. We wanted plantation shutters and I went to Unilocal to help me find a few companies to get pricing from. And again, Unilocal didn’t let us down!
He arrived at our new house, was done with measurements in what felt like 2 minutes, got out his laptop, worked up the quote, printed it out (my husband still talks about the portable printer), gave us the warranty info, explained the process and if we had any questions he was a phone call away.
We felt that his expertise, quality of shutters and pricing couldn’t be beat. We did get a few other quotes, but seriously, Oscar beat them all.
Install was a breeze! And the shutters are better than what we could have imagined!

My husband found Aztec Blinds & Shutters (aka Aztec Window Coverings) on Unilocal. He contacted Aztec and set-​up an appointment for an estimate. Oscar arrived on time and prepared. We had only a small job which included our master bedroom and master en suite. But, Oscar treated us as if we were having the entire house done – no job too small. He is friendly, outgoing, honest and when we mentioned another business, he acknowledged that they did good work – no bad mouthing of his competition. After having gathered multiple estimates, we decided on Aztec and we couldn’t be happier with the work – from beginning to end, professional and quality workmanship. Oscar did the install and he was thorough and efficient.
Oscar was also very accommodating when we asked if we could use the shade sample to decide on paint color selection. He dropped off the sample and picked it up when he did the install. It was very helpful to us.

I can’t recommend Aztech enough! First off, we had 15 windows and 2 shades installed in our house and it came in half of what we expected to pay. Oscar was very professional and helped us pick blinds that fit our house and our budget. Installation went very smoothly, and when the manufacturer sent the wrong size valance for one of the blinds Oscar pointed it out and came back to replace it (we would’ve never noticed). In addition, Oscar never tried to upsell us on anything we didn’t need or want. The installation itself is perfect. Oscar clearly has been doing this a while and everything looks fantastic. Do yourself a favor and call him, you’ll be glad you did!

I am normally a DIY kind of guy, but when faced with odd shaped windows in a room with cathedral ceilings, I knew I needed a professional. I had a great experience with Aztec Blinds and Shutters.
At the in-​home consult, when it was clear I had no idea what I was doing picking from such a wide selection of interior solar shades, Oscar helped me narrow down the right % and made some suggestions of what is very popular with his customers. I never felt pressured at any time, and his quote came in far less that Budget Blinds. After paying 50% at the time of order, my shades were available from the factory in a little over 2 weeks. Install was very fast, and Oscar and his helper were very careful in my home so as not to damage anything. The other 50% of the total was due at time of install. We are very happy with our shades and recommend Aztec without any hesitation.

AWSOME!!! We got estimates from four companies around Tucson that install shutters. Aztec (Oscar) shutters were the ONLY ones that did not try to talk me out of mounting the shutters inside of the windows. All the others wanted to framing the outer edge of the windows and install the shutters from that point. ugh! I guess this makes for an easy installation, but added bulk to the windows I did not want. Oscar listened to me and worked with us to ensure we got what we really wanted. He is very personable and professional. Oscar and his team installed shutters in five very large windows and they are fabulous. Aztec’s attention to detail is impressive. The shutters were installed inside the windows and look wonderful. We plan to use this company in the future and can high recommend them.
