Bach’s Greenhouse Cactus Nursery

This was my first visit to Bach’s Cactus Nursery, but it will not be my last. The staff could not have been kinder, more informative or more helpful. The selection of plants and containers is outstanding. A must visit if you love the desert landscape.

AWESOME, the only word to describe this nursery and it’s staff. I live half the year in Tucson and half in Vermont, even when in VT any questions about my cactus are answered. The variety of cactus offered is incredible, and prices more than fair. I have been and will continue to be a loyal customer. Take your time checking them out, so much to see.

Bach’s has an incredible selection of cacti. They also have tons of neat petrified wood to look at. The employees are so friendly and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about this place. We’ve now been twice and will definitely be back again.

We went to Bach’s to look for some cactus for a DYI project. We were overwhelmed with all the cactus! There is so much to see! We wised up and asked one of the ladies that works there if she would help us. She asked us what we wanted, and was able to come up with several different varieties of cactus that were different colors and bloomed at different times of the year… all fitting within the parameters of our DYI project. So glad we came here! Would never think of going anywhere else!

Brought my mom to this place during our visit to Tucson and was very impressed! Not only did they have an absolutely huge selection, the staff was SUPER friendly and helpful. It was a fantastic experience and mom left with a couple pots and succulent and I got some neat pictures. ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would return, even if I don’t have any idea what to do with a cactus. :)

Wow … this Cactusville. Huge display of cactus from tiny and small to giant and huge…
They have a massive selection of known cactus along with their own hybrids — how fun is that.
I will post a few photos but it does little justice to how large this place is.
We got some great cactus at an excellent price.
The workers were all fun and upbeat.
A neat jungle garden is part of their display.
Take your time as the display and selection is quite extensive.

Such a beautiful place. Many small plants from $ 2 — $ 10. Staff is so friendly and knowledgable. They gave me and my «friend» water bottles and even a free small plant as a gift! So nice. Wonderful place to visit they even have small pond very tranquil. Thousands and thousands of plants on site definitely a MUST SEE

This is an incredible place to buy cactus and succulents, and the staff is knowedgeable and friendly. They have all sizes, all types, a really great selection of trichocereus with every color bloom imaginable. Their prices are fine, the larger specimens are spendy, but those plants don’t grow that quickly, so they’ve got several years invested in them. My ONLY gripe is that they’re so far from my house.

I never thought that I would say those words about a cactus nursery but it was very neat!
My boyfriend is big into gardening right now and just wanted us to stop and check this place out.
The staff was super friendly. We bought a couple of small cacti and they repotted them for us with no additional charge and told us that as the cactus grows we can bring them back and they will replant them again.
This place has every possible cactus you can think of! so if your looking for a cactus, neat pot or even some amazing garden décor they have it!

This place is awesome! There are so many varieties of cactus and succulents, and the staff is wonderful with helping in selection. They are extremely knowledgable and willing to share this knowledge, even when it about something that was not purchased there. Prices are excellent as well.
It is worth a trip there even if only there to look around!

Very large and varied cactus nursery. They create stock for other retailers plus have a retail business on site. The retail prices are very competitive with other nurseries and big box stores in the Tucson area.
I would recommend that anyone interested in cacti for landscaping or indoor use should take the drive north of Tucson for this source of ideas and solutions. I have uploaded nearly 100 pictures which should give a good idea of the scope and appearance of the stock at this nursery.

If you could only stop at one cactus and succulent nursery in Tucson, this would be it.
The scale of the nursery is impressive, including at least 5 – 6 greenhouses, a specimen garden full of impressive old columnars, and landscape sized plants laid out in neat rows. For landscape needs, this place has the best prices in town. We picked up 5 gal Mexican fencepost cactus for half the price of the big box stores, and several one gallon Cleistocactus for under $ 10 each. They also have a nice selection of smaller C&S for collectors and the staff is helpful if you’re hunting for your special genus/​species/​family. Bonus? They usually have a free two-​inch plant with purchase.
I’m sad it’s on the extreme NW side of town, otherwise I’d come here much more often. Definitely worth the trek!

If you like cactus, this is the place for you. It is not easy to find because you cant really see it from the road, but once you do find it, there is a lot to look at. They had a lot of different types of cactus. They had at least 6 different green houses with every type of cactus available. Their prices seemed very reasonable also.
Bring your camera because there is a lot of opportunity for some interesting pictures.
