This is a great place for lunch meetings. They have something for everyone. Vegetarian and meat choices are delicious. They have two choices for fresh brewed tea and soda options. They have a huge selection of fresh baked deserts. You can take home fresh baked bread as well. The service is great and the staff is friendly. The tables get cleaned right away even when they are busy so you don’t have to ask someone to clean it. They offer enclosed outdoor seating that is cooled in the hotter months. They also offer take out and catering. Lots of great choices so you can try something new each time.

Great sandwich place, yummy combinations and a good kids menu. They catered a lunch for me once, and the gallon jug of iced tea broke when we brought it in, the delivery man went all the way back to the store and brought me a new one for free! Talk about good service. I am always happy with the quality of the food and service. I would not recommend the ciabatta bread though as it is very hard to eat and somewhat too large. Otherwise good sandwiches.

Best sandwiches in Tucson. Varied options, all are large and tasty. Desserts and large and equally tasty. Bakery offers loaves to go. Can’t go wrong eating at Beyond Bread.

Great food as always with beyond bread. Not as crowded as the one by campus and the staff is really nice and personable. Shout out to the homie working the register

Beyond Bread was my favorite sandwich shop when I went to school at U of A, and it was so wonderful to go back and see that the quality is still there! My favorite sandwich is Avi’s Avo(turkey, avocado, sprouts and cucumber sandwich), and it is still as amazing as it was years back. What I really love is that the ingredients are all very fresh and the portions are hearty. You really can’t go wrong with any of the sandwiches here, so I say run over to get your tasty lunchtime grub on! :)

Love this place for quick, hearty food with tons of options & great staff. Lots of turn over in the seating. We love their soup & salad options & the pastries are mouth watering & well displayed. Several soups to choose from. Always clean. Get in line to order food and they bring it out. Choose your bread & filling options and can add on items. Overall a great place for lunch or take away meal.

Well 6 months ago I was at the Beyond Bread on Campbell, and had unpleasant customer service from the cashier. So once again I’m in Tucson so I decided to stock up on Beyond Bread, I tried the Ina location. First, Moe was at the cash register I notified her ahead of time I would have a large order. She was very friendly, and very accommodating. She provided GREAT customer service. We ordered 3 sandwiches with pasta, 1 salad, 2 breads, 3 desserts, 6 pastries, and 1 cookie to go. We got home and immediately ate 2 of the sandwiches and salad everything was delicious. I was thinking WOW this was a good experience Beyond Bread redeemed themselves. UGH!!! until later when my family member opened up their sandwich, which was supposed to be a Colette’s Cordon Blue, instead it was a sorry excuse for a half grilled cheese sandwich. What a disappointment!!! I called Beyond Bread and spoke to the manager he asked me if I had my receipt(Luckily when Moe asked me if I wanted a receipt I said yes lesson learned) I did have it so they credited me the sandwich. Yippee! The problem is easy to solve the people in the back need to get off their cell phones!!! I saw the guy who was bagging my big order and another big order while he was texting on his cell phone. As the customer spending over $ 70 I expect my order to be at least bagged correctly I shouldn’t have to take everything out of the bags, check every box then re-box and re-bag so the employees can use their cell phones at work! I have been a customer for many many years at Beyond Bread. Unfortunately I’m not a local any more so when I’m in town I go out of my way to stop and stock up, which is usually worth it. I still recommend Beyond Bread the sandwiches, salads, desserts, and pastries are really good. But the customer service lately??? I was so hoping to give a 5 star review, so sad.

Beyond Bread is a great place to eat with good food. Good menu variety for all. One of my favorites is Joels Jolt! Great desserts too!

Their breads are fresh and delicious. My favorite place to get a sandwich in Tucson. You can pay comparable other places, but the sandwiches here are nicely filling and great quality ingredients; plus they come with a side. Love that you can refill your own drinks and coffee. Their desserts are really good too. Love the fruit pies and cookies! The best thing aside from their sandwiches is grabbing a loaf or bread or two to take home– plus their pretzels here are fresh and chewy just the way I like them.

Went back again for the Kougni-Amann($ 2.75/each) again like I said and they are as fantastic as they were yesterday! Definitely an unassuming pastry that is flaky, crunchy, buttery, and salty. Simply a wonderful buy! Cheers!

Everything I’ve tried here is pure gold, specially the pesto sandwich, I could eat that one for the rest of my life and still love it! staff is very friendly too, and I love that they have little slices of bread for you to try out… or if you are like me, keep your mouth busy while eagerly waiting to eat my baby pesto sandwich… seriously, try the pesto sandwich!

I stop in here to buy bread. They make great sandwiches too. I got the tip about their ciabatta from Wildflower. They served some really good grilled ciabatta on an appetizer plate. I asked if they made it in-house, and they said they got it from Beyond Bread. It’s the place I go now. All of their loaves are good.

This is a local bakery in Tucson and worth seeking out if you are in town. Most of the time, we come here for breakfast pastries, but you have to get there early before the really good stuff runs out. We were running a bit late on this trip and all of the cinnamon buns were gone. My kids were heartbroken. I told them that if they’d have gotten out of bed earlier they might have had a chance! Fortunately for me, there was a kouign-amann with my name on it. That and a cup of Peruvian coffee made me a happy guy. The pastry dough was tender and buttery on the inside and the outside was crunchy and flaky, with a nice coating of a salty-carmelly goodness. Winner! The kids were disappointed that the big croissants were out, but I swear they made it through 5 of the petit pan au chocolat in just a couple of minutes: it took them longer to pay for them than to eat them(and not because they are that small). In addition to the prepared pastry options, they also have a full menu of made-to-order breakfast choices, although I can’t recall that I have ever made it past the pastry case. The«cheese pocket» has been my favorite for years, and their«new»(sadly, it has been about a year since I have been back) pinwheels look to have built on that by adding some fruit jam on top of the sweet cheese. We have had the breads from here before, and I have ben very happy with my choices. Some of them have a thick crust — ciabatta is one with a very traditional texture — so you have to watch out if you have dental work. But, the flavors are fantastic and I would be here all the time if I lived in town. For lunch, they sell sandwiches made with their bread, and I think they have scratch-made soups as well. I swear just about every seat in the large interior was taken, and there were even more people arriving all the time. The signs at this location indicated that they now serve mimosas in the morning. It wasn’t that kind of day for us, but good to know if that’s your thing.

Okay, I’ve been really loyal to Baggin’s for years, but their service at various Tucson locations has just not been up to par the past few visits. On our quest for another awesome sandwich and salad place, we popped into this business. We’ve had them on our radar for a long time, but never ate at any of their locations before. It was nice to receive a warm greeting upon walking in and the cashier was really helpful. We appreciated that we could customize our sandwiches to our liking with no hassles or added fees. We took our meals to go, but if you have the time, they have a lovely dining area where you can leisurely enjoy your food. Yes, the food… Oh my, everything was so perfect, including the fresh cookies we enjoyed after our amazing sandwiches. This may be our new go to sandwich shop when visiting Tucson.

The breakfast choice of MiNi folks. Service was fast, food was good and enough was left over for lunch. The staff let us move tables around so all 30 could sit together. Thanks everyone for a good experience

Ordered two sandwiches to go and they were amazing! My boyfriend got Maddy’s Madness with chicken, bacon, provolone, avocado, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise on toasted Multigrain with baked chips. He really enjoyed it! $ 9.25 I got Enzo’s Ending with pepperoni, ham, provolone, pepperoncini, lettuce, tomato, red onion, Italian dressing on Parisienne with house salad. The salad was AMAZING and its a great portion. My sandwich was equally amazing and I can see why this place is such a hot spot in Tucson. The Parisienne was a bit hard, I’m not a big bread person so I don’t know if its supposed to be a hard bread but it was a bit difficult to eat but OHMYGOD it was SO good. $ 8.25

I took my sister and her girlfriend here who were visiting from out of town. I wasn’t all to impressed with their salads(so nothing for me to recommend after trying them once), but their sandwiches looked good. They also had a pretty tasty looking dessert stand that I almost blew my diet for. The sizes are good for the price and don’t be turned off by the long lines here. They seem to have a pretty good system and enough staff to get you in and through the line in a good amount of time. They also have an excellent area for you to grab some foil and wrap up your leftovers to go! All and all, I will give this place another shot for sure!

I’m sorry but I’m just not hopping aboard the«Beyond Bread bandwagon». I give three stars because the bread always tastes fresh and the desserts(which lets be real, is all I really need in life… well besides Jax Teller…) are of good quality and variety. The service is friendly and if you can get over the fact that everyone in the world is sticking their germy hands in, they offer samples of their bread while you wait! Why not give 5 stars you ask? The pastries and desserts, while very good, taste garden variety. Obviously not walmart, but for the price you pay it seems the ingredients and the selection should be a little better. Maybe Village bake house has spoiled me, but if your in the area it’s not a bad choice.

In my humble opinion, Beyond Bread and Fortunatos are the best sandwich shops in Tucson(ever since Susie’s on Broadway next to Nadine’s closed down about 5 years ago). Usually when you walk in you’ll be put off by the line all the way to the door. Don’t fret though, as the line goes quite fast and you can sample some bread while waiting. The kitchen service though can be hit or miss. It’s usually only when you order a hot sandwich that it slows them down a lot. I ordered the Brads Beef which is roast beef, provolone cheese, green chiles, red onion, Russian dressing on white bread. It’s so bad for you yet so good. Isn’t that normally the case? Important note to those who don’t know. Avoid the Ciabatta bread at all cost. It comes standard on some sandwiches(though I don’t know why). Those sandwiches have a tooth next to them on the menu. Why? Because you’ll break a tooth on it, its so hard. There is nothing enjoyable about that bread. How many times do they have to be sued before it sinks in and they get rid of that awful bread or at least stop making it standard on sandwiches?(Tangent over) If you have room afterwards try some of their awesome cookies. They also do the best banana bread and chocolate babka(Fridays only).
