Saturday night at the Bone-in was very good. Live music was nice without being overpowering as is often the case. Service was a it rough as we seemed to be waiting often at first and our appetizer came wit dinner rather than before which was removed from the bill. Food was very good. We ordered the ½ rack of ribs and the burger, which were both excellent. We will return!

We drive by the Bone-In every day… on our way to someplace else. We finally stopped because we had heard good things. We brought out of state guests for dinner. They were pleased with the fare because it was at the edge of the desert and because they chose the bbq ribs. I should have. My steak were laced with as much fat as I am. I was disappointed. Sides were good. From the number of customers who showed up and were recognized by the wait staff while we were there, my experience must have been unusual. So. we probably will go again. I will have the bbq. The setting is edge of the desert cool and the drive getting there is superb. It’s my idea of Arizona casual.

This place started off being 5 stars. Then they got cheap. They changed the menu to cheaper products. Full of flys. Horrible service. Owner is a nice man and should have stuck to the quality products. I may try again one day.

Ok, let’s start by telling you that there are only 2 steaks on the menu– AND, the Bone-In Steakhouse has no steaks with bones in them? Filet and a rib-eye? Service was ok, but no taste to the steaks at all, and cooked wrong for both of our steaks. No flavor and cooked on a gas grill for $ 24 bucks a plate! You’re kidding me, right?! The kid got Mac and cheese– served in a ramekin, Kraft style for 5 dollars. I would not recommend this place. A pretty place that could be a really cool restaurant on the eastside(something we REALLYDESPERATELY need) but this place is quite lacking. We would rate this place as the worst steakhouse we’ve been to in Tucson.

My wife and I have been here with friends several times. The food is always good. Their onion rings and BBQ wings are great. Between my wife and I and our friends we have had just about everything on the menu and we have not been disappointed. The only ding is the service is a little slow.

FAST Review Food(3⁄5) — Prime rib meal was decent. Came with a side of beans and a biscuit. Ambiance(3⁄5) — I guess it’s kind of rustic western. A little too rustic, as there was a dead fly on the window sill we were next to, and a fireplace which looked to have been under construction(or really weird art deco… no, it wasn’t finished). Interior could most certainly use some sprucing up. Service(4⁄5) — We had 3 different servers, which was a little weird, but we were never ignored. Our first had to attend to a large group, so we had a second one sub. Then that one had a sub. Total Impression(3⁄5) — We just tried the prime rib, so cant speak for the other entrees on the menu. It’s a decent meal if you have a coupon, but certainly not the best steakhouse I’ve been to. If you live on the far southeast side of town though there are not many options.

The first time I visited we had great veggie burgers. the complete plate full of a delicious burger with blue cheese and sides of beans, fries. we were very pleased! Two weeks later we bring friends and none of us were happy and two of us sent things back in hopes of better .but alas. the salmon was over cooked and tough, the medium burger was very well done and tough… the veggie burger was ‘OK’ and the steak was gristly. I felt sorry for the server who was friendly, helpful and a real ‘gem’. I rarely send something back but my salmon was so horrible. So the ‘new’ salmon she brought was still overcooked but not at bad — I just ate the middle. I have a feeling it was a different chef/cook and perhaps he/she does not work often? This is one of the only few restaurants out in this area of Tucson so I have my fingers crossed that this was just a momentary glitch?

We went here about 4 months ago, and left raving about it. But this time we were very disappointed. My ribs were fatty and tough, and the only description my husband can use for his pork sandwich is «like a dirty sock.»

Cowboy up! This ranch-themed restaurant was great. Had the pork lover’s delight… and it was! Pulled pork, smoked sausage, thick bacon and tangy bbq sauce on a nice bun. Daughter had bbq ribs, corn in the cob and we both had the steak fries(comes with ranch-flavored salt I think). Great meal and service in a nice atmosphere. Oh, there’s also a cool patio. Live music Thursdays and Sundays. Family night Tuesdays and prime rib Sundays.

Lazy Sunday. Smokey Juicy Prime Rib. Live Cowboy Tunes. Cold XX Amber. ahhhhh… I have been coming to this spot on the map since back when it was Webb’s and have driven by it’s shuttered dining room hoping that someday it would reopen to be the great rural watering hole that it has always been destined to be. This first visit has my hopes up that this neighborhood haunt will have me making the drive for good food and atmosphere– Because there is something authentic about having real working men in cowboy hats and women in dusty boots at the bar. Call it character. Sunday night they have a Prime Rib Special for $ 17.95, and that’s what our whole table ordered. It came with a generous dinner salad(cliantro ranch rocked), a baked potato that hadn’t spent hours in a hot box, small cob of corn, biscuits and butter on the table – everything was fresh, tasty and almost good enough not to want to put on the side when faced with the star attraction: the hunk of pink prime rib on my plate. There was the expected amount of fat that comes with prime rib on my cut, but that was excusable with the first bite of it’s smokey goodness. Absolutely delicious. Unbutton-the-jeans-and-laugh-at-the-«To Go”-box delicious. Another feature on Sunday night was the entertainment by singer Andy Hersey. I’ll be honest and say that I’ve heard Andy before and it wasn’t an accident we were in the restaurant where he regularly gigs on Sunday evening. He sings a mix of his own locally grown songs along with covers of the western greats. Another mark in the atmosphere column. The rest of the menu features the standard steak cuts, sandwiches, and ribs – all of which have my interest piqued thanks to the expert treatment of the prime rib. But I best come back not on a Sunday. I don’t know how I could bear not ordering it over and over again.

Tried the salmon(with raspberry sauce) at an earlier visit. It was excellent and I recommend it. Bone-In offers three $ 14.95 specials between 4:30pm and 6pm(featured on a table topper) that include a dinner salad, baked potato and a choice of beverages including red or white wine and iced tea. They’re a great value. Snipped of eye rolling conversation that we overhead from the next table. We weren’t eaves dropping — it was hard to miss: Young Lady #1: «[So and so] is working at a super market now.» Young Lady #2: «Oh! I thought it was a grocery store!» I’m glad I wasn’t taking a mouthful of my iced tea at the time!

Chicken fried steak was very tough. Had to send it back! Better Half had the trout and liked it .She thought her drink was watered down. It was called a Bone-In Cosmo. Guess they forgot to add the vodka. They did try to make things right by offering me the menu again. I chose another item which was o.k. and was not charged for it.
