This just proves that the locally owned stores in Tucson are so much better than the big box, corporate stores. After spending hours running around town trying to find a replacement piece I needed, someone recommended I come to Bonnets, Stems & Accessories. After showing Bruce what I needed, within a second he knew the brand name and size of what I needed as I did not have any information to give him other than show him the part I needed. I was floored! He showed me really how big the store is and plans for the future. He truly is a master in his trade and I can see why this is a 3^rd generation owned family business. I will be coming back here and definitely supporting my local stores. Thanks Bruce!

This is THE place to go for plumbing parts and great service. A kind plumber saved us $ 1000 in recommended repairs (by someone else) by recommending we try replacing the valve stem on our old crane faucet that would not turn off. He said to go to Bonnets and Stems «if they don’t have it, no one else will.» For $ 7.00 we were able to replace the faulty valve stem and the mechanical components that allowed the faucet fixture to fit on the stem. Problem solved! Not only does this business have the parts that you need (no matter how old your system!), they do not hesitate to go the extra mile to help you understand the installation. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!!!

service and parking are the pits but they do have a great selection. P. S. Do not eat the candy in the dish on the counter… I saw 2 different men stick their VERY dirty hands in and touch all the candy in their quest for theirs… YUCK

I’ve been remodeling an old set of apartments and had to tear out old shower walls. All I had left was the old plumbing, in particular single level shower controls, one of which was broken. I took pictures of them and sent them to some of the largest plumbing supply places in Tucson and they came back with a blank. So then I decided to personally visit some of the plumbing suppliers with the parts and pictures in hand. Some could identify the part, but didn’t have it.
Three of the plumbing supply places suggested I try Bonnets and Stems. So I went there as I wasn’t having any luck at the Plumbing Supply places.
When I first walked in I wasn’t too optimistic as the store was smaller than most of the other places that I had visited. But the owner who was working in the back shortly came out to help me. When I showed him the old part he immediately recognized it and commented boy that’s a real old mixer. He went into his back room which I imagine is umpteen times larger than the store front. He shortly came back with the part and told me about all the other parts that go with it, to put it back together as a finished shower control. The price was reasonable and it saved me from having to cut out the old shower control and put in a new one.
More customer had come in by the time I left. There now were a number of professional plumber vans in the parking lot. Apparently this is where guys who do plumbing for a living go to find the parts you can’t get at Home Depot, Lowe’s or the major Plumbing Supply stores. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for plumbing parts that nobody seems to have a clue about.
