Broken Arrow is awsome, what a cool idea. David Aguirre, the owner of Dinnerware Artspace and creator of the Tucson Food Truck Roundup, saw the potential in an old silver delivery truck. He converted it into a mobile boutique featuring vintage clothing and local art. They have a Facebook page. We ran into this truck parked in front of Spark Root last night. The woman running the show was just getting setup for the evening. It was just about 6pm. She gave us her attention keying us in on the details of this new project of hers. She was super friendly and cool, just the kind of person I like to shop from. There was a theme to the night. Broken Arrow was featuring outfits and accessories for the Mermaid Parade happening downtown this weekend. I thought the local jewelry was cool. The truck is organized well and not overcrowded. Climbing up the back steps to shop was so much more fun than waking into a store. When I was inside the truck it felt like I was inside a rockstar’s closet, or one of those antique traveling trunks. I will keep an eye out for Broken Arrow around town. I can’t wait to see them again.
