The most over priced stuffed animal your kid will ever own! Cute place… But obscenely expensive for a stuffed animal!

If someone were to tell me that they were thinking of going over to Build-​A-​Bear Workshop especially on a weekend, I’d suggest that they drop a hammer on their bare toe instead. Either that or get a root canal. Either experience is just as enjoyable. Unless, of course, this person has kids. In that case they’re already used to having to do things they would rather not do and go places they’d rather not go all in the name of «for the kids».
BABW has been overly crowded each time we’ve gone. I think the location itself is too small. Prepare yourself for too much noise, kids running around and yelling and probably spending too much on a stuffed animal and/​or accessories.
Still, prepare to see your child having a wonderful time. Everything from choosing their «friend» (since they are not limited to bears) to making their wish, stuffing them, fluffing them, naming them, to dressing them is such a treat for them. I know my kiddies always walk out with a huge smile on their faces and walk around proudly displaying their friend in a signature cardboard house. You know the pushing, shoving, screaming kids and headaches are all worth it after that.
