I had the pleasure of meeting Dave(and talking to his partner and wife over the phone) this afternoon. He has just come to Tucson in the last 6 to 12 months and trying to make a go as a small business locksmith. I had locked myself out of my place and called several places using Unilocal as well as Google, and all of them failed, some in a BIGWAY(see other reviews or tips coming soon). I had to make an appointment downtown and when I explained this Dave said he could not commit to that time schedule. I thanked him on the phone and said I’d call back when I made it back to my apartment sometime later in the day. I eventually made it back without getting wet(thanks to a VIP cab) and called him up again. He said he was currently busy but would be at my place in 30 minutes. I didn’t want to just wait in the hallway all that time, so I walked down the street to a local Village Inn(another review coming soon) and had a pretty good decaf, both hot and iced, taking the iced with me in a to go cup. As I approached my complex I saw a white van and realized Dave had come early. I ran to make sure he wouldn’t take off and require another phone call. To my great surprise, Dave not only had pretty much done everything he needed to do, he also explained some options I had with my lock situation(deadbolt plus auto-locking(my downfall) doorknob. Can’t thank Dave enough and wish him the best with his new business and welcome him and his wife to Tucson. I know this is not an easy market for anyone to succeed in, with people set in their ways and whatnot. But Bulldog Lock & Key(I personally wouldn’t have chosen that name, though I should wait to here Dave’s explanation why he named it that) is run by honest folk and Dave is professional, highly skilled and knowledgeable, and really friendly to boot. Thank you Dave for putting a little sunshine in an otherwise pretty crappy day for me. Steve Tucson, AZ
