I don’t want to mention that they will never return your deposit. This apartment has worst manager ever! Kaila Owens is literally the meanest manager I have ever seen. I don’t want to take it personal but all my friends’ experience tell me, this person is a racist.

This complex is perfect for college students. It is a five minute walk from the University of Arizona campus and a local grocery store– So convenient and affordable! I have lived here for a year and will definitely be returning!

After living at Campus Crossings on 8th Street for a whole school year and choosing to not renew my lease, I could not wait to write this review. As the other reviewers have emphasized, the list of complaints and nightmares goes on and on, so I’ll just hit the big chunks… I’ll start with the Management, because after all, that makes or breaks the living experience. Well, it sucks. No. That’s not a strong enough word. It sucks *insert reproductive body part*. And by management, I don’t necessarily mean the kids working in the office part time. Campus Crossings is a large corporation with many buildings and locations in many states, which is great. Good for them. But, as is common with large corporations, the people that sit in cubicles in large office buildings watching cat videos for 6 hours a day(pardon the cliché) are what hurt this place the most. When you go to the 19 year old part timer in the office and ask him where the hell your refund check is for this and that, or why the«manager» never emails you back, he can’t really do anything about it. He’s paid to smile and tell you«the manager will be in on Monday :)». Ok, great, thanks dude. I never once met the manager of this place. Apparently he or she was always at the«other property». So if you’re looking for actual help and need actual answers when you have a question, stop reading here and take that brochure they gave you while you toured the beautiful model room and toss that in the trash. Recycle, actually. If you can stomach a management more useless than Tony Romo on a «good day»(sorry Cowboys fans), then hats off to you. Remember that model room you toured? Nice, right? Yea. Sorry, but you can find a nicer place in a South Tucson trailer park. Odors of cigarettes, burn marks on tables, broken drawers, broken shades, broken chairs cracked microwave. We found lots of hair clips in our carpet… Expect all of it. On top of that, the air conditioning, if you can call it that, keeps the place at a cozy 85-ish on beautiful 100 degree Arizona day. Ahh. Refreshing, isn’t it? Nothin’ better than a rooms that’s hotter than two rats screwin’ in a wool sock, amiright??? I think you get the point on this one, the quality of the apartment is shit. Strike two. Now, being 2 blocks from campus, having an absurdly high cost of living, and this being primarily U of A housing, one would think it would be bumpin on Saturday night, yea? Ha. I did, at least. I thought we would meet new people, have cool neighbors that would bring the beer when we watched the away games on TV(which we couldn’t do anyway since there were only a handful of functioning channels). But then again, at this point in the review, why should you expect that? So no, there is none of that. I never once did anything social with anyone there. My roommate and I tried. We sat by the pool with a 30 pack, hung out in the courtyard, BBQ’ed. But nope. For the first month of living there, it felt deserted. So don’t expect it to be the Levels, Next Levels, Hub, or any of those other high-rise, California rich-kid yuppie brothels. It’s boring, a little creepy at night, and honestly a little embarrassing when you have guests over. Ahh. That felt good. Sorry for my rants, but paying $ 635 a month for this place and seeing these results. C’mon. I will say this, though. It was a great learning experience. I know what to look for now in housing and what I’m getting myself into when I sign a lease. Also, when I was persistent with them, the office staff(the part timer kids) were always friendly, and did everything they could to help me. Thanks, guys. Give them a raise. If your bosses did a better job, your job would be easier. So yeah, don’t live here ever. EVER.
