Fresh selection of red meat, fish and an assortment of Latin food products. The butchers at every friendly and the butcher shop is super clean. Every Saturday and Sunday you can have you meat selection cooked on a grill. Super yummy ceviche and guacamole!!!

I had no idea places like this existed in Tucson! Tiny little meat market. Meat is fresh, can be pre-marinated, and is at a fair price. The staff is so friendly and they have good recommendations for the type and cut of meat based on what you are trying to cook. They also sell cheeses, some vegetables, spices, and a random assortment of cooking needs. You can try samples too if you ask :) They grill your meat outside for free, but tips are always highly appreciated. I highly recommend checking this place out

The carniceria I frequent closed, so I was in search for a new one, and this place is relatively close to my new place. I was going to have a little bbq with some friends, so I gave this place a try. Before buying the meat I browsed around a bit, and their canned goods like crema, pato sauce are a bit expensive. They have a variety of Mexican sodas, candies and so on. their meat was good, but the marinated chicken thigh fillets were really good, and tender. I’ll be making my was back here.

Only been in a couple of times but really impressed thus far. The beef chorizo we picked up this morning was fantastic! House made salsas are excellent. Tamales are next on my list of things to try. Friendly, family run place that provides great service and has decent prices. We’ll be back for sure!

Good quality, reasonably priced meat. Friendly and helpful staff. I’m not sure if its just on the weekends, but they marinate and grill your meat for free… tips are welcomed. For sure will be going back.

I’m loving this little Hispanic market! The people who worked here were super friendly and helpful. No language barrier at all. They took the time to answer all questions. Everything in the market was super fresh and high quality. It’s also super clean. They offer a nice selection of meat and will marinate and grill it for free. They did not have pork al pastor, but the butcher suggested a marinated pork steak that uses the same seasoning. They also had lots of samples to nibble on like chicharones. There is a great selection of tortillas, sopes, and breads from companies like Alejandros. They have lots of Mexican candy and even offer some in bulk. On the weekends they offer homemade menudo, made by their mother. While checking out, a ton of homemade goodies were catching my eye. I grabbed a Mexican candy apple which they said was covered in tamarind and chili and a mango on a stick coated in chimoy and chili. Arriba! That mango was delicioso and addictive. It alone will keep me coming back. They also had a bag of apple slices, orange pieces, mango and pickle… I passed on that odd combo, but it piqued my curiosity. I’m also dying to try out mama’s hot, steamy tamales.
