I have used Cascade multiple times and on two occasions Casey was the tech. His work was top-notch and when he called and established an arrival time he was there. However, on another occasion when I had a large job involving multiple contractors things did not go as well. The tech tried his best but due to a lack of supervision things were done that made no sense, and basically unusable outlets, and unfortunately after you cut metal you can’t go back. Cascade attempted to make it right, again charging me to fix the poor work previously done and PAIDFOR, but somethings could not be fixed. Lastly, I just had a circuit breaker fail. Made an appointment for Casey to come out and he did and diagnosed the problem, confirming it was the Arc Isolator Breaker on a Thursday. He did not have a replacement breaker and had to order it but was unable to return on Friday so he would have to turn the job over to another tech to complete on Friday, and the tech would call. Well NO call from Cascade. I left a message, no return call, I call on Monday left another message and finally on Tuesday received a call telling me the earliest they can come out is Thursday(1 week after the initial visit). Yes, Cascade did apologize citing confusion as to the reason I did not get a tech on Friday or a call-back. But that is not my main issue. The issue I have is a paid for an initial service call and Casey was on-site less than 30 minutes. He did not have the breaker and had to order it and it was available on Friday. When he came back out the next Thursday he time-on-site was again less than 30 and everything works fine. When the bill was given to me it was for OVER $ 200 to replace an Arc Isolator Breaker. Looking at the bill I was charged for ‘2’ service calls. Why two services calls electricians normally carry basic repair parts and a circuit breaker should be one of them. Over $ 200 is clearly more than what this job was worth! So my warning is be a where and make sure you absolutely understand the problem and estimated costs. Once the bill is presented it’s too late to complain. Will I use Cascade again or recommend them — I don’t know. As I said earlier, Casey is a responsible tech but I question their billing methods it’s clearly one-sided. Finally, if you know what part failed consider buying it yourself and having an electrician install it.

Casey did a fantastic job for us installing 30 amp 240V service for a water heater. He showed up on time, did excellent work in a time-efficient manner, took care to make the visible parts look good, left the work area very clean, and charged us a fair price for the parts and labor. We are very happy with his work!

I’ve called these guys a couple of times and so far am happy with their services. They show up on time, do a good job for a fair price, and the two different servicemen I’ve talked to were nice to me and I felt comfortable having them working in my house.(They are much better than my last electrician anyway) I will continue to hire Cascade unless they give me a reason not to.
