Central Collision Center

I am extremely satisfied with my experiences at Central Collision. I’ve brought my vehicles here twice already and will be returning for a third time in the near future!
My first vehicle got into small accident with a family member (so we were paying out of pocket instead of using insurance) that bent the front right side passenger door — the point where it would not close properly. I first took it to another local shop (that rhymes with «ghostbusters») and they wanted to replace the entire door (with a salvaged door, btw) and was quoting me nearly $ 2,000 for the job.
I then brought it to Central Collision for a second opinion, and their solution was to bend the door back to shape with repaint and I paid HALF of what the other place was charging me. The door was good as new!
Fast forward several months later, another vehicle of mine got into a fender bender and I promptly took it to Central Collision on the same day. They fixed my front and rear bumper, took care of all the insurance paperwork and I was back on the road in 3 days!
About returning for a third time, the rear driver-​side quarter panel on this same vehicle has started to crack due to a bad job at another shop years ago. When I picked up my car from Central Collision for the bumper fix, they quoted me a very reasonable price to get that fixed and I am definitely returning for that.
As someone who is new to Tucson, I was extremely apprehensive when choosing a body shop. Central collision exceeded all of my expectations, their service was professional, prompt, and honest. Kevin handled both my visits, both he and the staff do excellent work.

Before moving to the Tucson area I lived in Bisbee for 5 years and had my share of run-​ins with narrow streets and unforgiving retaining walls. I finally decided to try and get my 2004 Toyota Sienna looking a bit less beat-​up. After reading a few reviews on Unilocal,I thought Central Collision sounded like a reputable company (Although it was known by a number of different names including «Creative Concepts» and «Mike’s Central Collision», which made for a bit of confusion.) At any rate, my phone call was answered quickly and professionally and I was welcomed to stop by for a free estimate. When I arrived, Mike came out and went over the work I wanted done in careful detail — he asked about options for certain repair items that had not even occurred to me. During this process I never felt pressured to sign up for any more than what I truly felt I wanted covered. I did have to leave my car for a week, which is always an inconvenience, but I also understand that there are stages to the whole process where repair material and paint has to dry etc. When I left my car, and when I needed to pick it up, I was given a ride to and from my home — once by the owner himself, and another time by the super-​friendly office manager, Jill. When I did pick up my car, I was amazed at the quality of work. The finish made my car look like it did the day I bought it! I only had one side done at this visit, but when I feel I can afford some additional touch-​up, I know where to go!
Additional note: There was one little fix that had been overlooked. When I brought the car back in, they not only gave me a refund, but they also did the cosmetic repair right then and there!

I can’t speak to their collision repair, but they painted a small part for my car, and it was done well and at about ¹⁄₃ the price as a bigger name shop wanted. I’d definitely look at these guys for any body work needed on my car.

From past experiences I am typically very skeptical of mechanics. I have been burned more than a few times and it’s a great relief to finally discover a garage who is honest and skilled. I brought a vehicle in that I was considering purchasing to get it checked out to be sure everything was up to spec. The mechanics were VERY thorough and did a great job! They explained everything to me comprehensively and in a language I could understand. The management was a pleasure to deal with and I will not hesitate to return here in the future. I hope they keep up the great work!

Bob and Roy have never let me down. They are the most down-​to-​earth, trustworthy mechanics I have ever met. The garage itself is «no-​frills» but their work is always top notch.
