Charming Charlie – Tucson

Charming Charlie carries wonderful items, I used to love buying items at this store location. But the customer service is one of the worst I have seen. The women working here are two busy talking behind the counter to help anyone out. No one is out on the floor assisting customers. When you do go to ask for help they act bothered and very quick to answer questions, so they can get back to their socializing. Very disappointed in my shopping experience at the tucson mall charming Charlie’s location.

A huge selection of cheap costume jewelry. Pretty much exactly what you’d expect. Charming Charlie’s are everywhere, and this one is nothing special. It’s a convenient location inside the mall, but that also may impact the size because, although its still large, its not as big as some of the stores I’ve been to in other cities. Good enough, though — I found everything I needed!

What’s a gal to do when she’s in need of some accessories to match her outfit?
Well, let’s see…
Option A: take a photo (possibly mental) of said outfit and head to the mall
Option B: take said outfit in a purse and head to the mall
Option C: put on said outfit and head to Charming Charlie
So that’s what I did. It was a Thursday afternoon when I put on my fancy shmancy green dress (with heels) and marched my way through the empty mall and into Charming Charlie — at which point I was happily greeted, and then efficiently guided past a rainbow of colors to the Land of Green Accessories. Jewelry, headbands, and scarves galore! My only concern was to walk out of there looking like La Puerca de Juan Bobo.*
After only a few minutes of searching and trying on for the mirror, I found my little green treasures: a necklace and earrings for ten bucks.
Oh Charlie, you always seem to know what my outfit is missing!
*La Puerca de Juan Bobo: a term for someone who wears an extravagant amount of jewelry, makeup, or stuff (based on a Puerto Rican tale)

Okay, so I’ll admit it! I am a shopaholic. There I said it, now we can move on… to talking about shopping! For accessories! At Charming Charlie! I love this place. It’s like a candy store, so many colors and types of accessories to choose from. I went in with a purpose and got exactly what I wanted. A purple cross body bag big enough to fit my notebook, water bottle, wallet and other miscellaneous items for an extremely reasonable price. The sales associates are very friendly and will help you look for that special piece you have in mind, I know because one did cart me around the store trying out different bags until I found the one I eventually purchased.
This is really my go to place for low priced, quality costume jewelry. I don’t really fit into their clothes but I find their head bands and scarves to be especially charming. =D

I love this place! when i go to Tucson i make sure to come here cuz i don’t have a Charming Charlies at home. The jewelry is affordable and goes perfect with your everyday outfits. The store is organized by color and has other accessories like belts, sunglasses, and handbags.

Imagine, if you will, a store dedicated to helping you look super cute but that is budget friendly. Charming Charlie fits that bill… and then some.
The only problem is you could quite possibly over do it… I mean, bling is in, but looking like Punky Brewster & Cyndi Lauper’s love child is not.
Charming Charlie specializes in fun and affordable jewelry, but they also have some clothes, shoes, and purses to complete your look. A must visit store next time you are in the Tucson Mall.
