My wife and I are continually impressed with Childtime – This is an absolutely wonderful place – a caring, committed staff of professionals who genuinely love the kids in their care. The way they handle conflicts amongst the children is a good example – The children here are held to a reasonable standard of behavior that is neither overly strict, nor overly permissive. When a child needs guidance to change their behavior, it’s done in such a way so as to be healthy, constructive, and respectful to the child. As a result, the children themselves learn to be thoughtful and respectful of others, and to forgive others in the same way. The environment at this Childtime location is welcoming, enriching, and full of opportunities for the kids to grow and learn in a safe, positive, social, play-friendly environment, regardless of age. This is exactly what day care/pre-school should be. Hats off to these folks!

I used to believe that all childcare centers were the same. My son went to a variety of places including centers and home daycare. We had all sorts of issues from having to peel my child off of me to leave him(which always made me feel like crap) to behavioral issues and clashes with the staff over unfair treatment and insane attendance policies. Now, my daughter goes to Childtime — has since she was 6 months old — and I know there is no place better! The teachers aren’t babysitters — they’re licensed, accredited and knowledgeable… and they genuinely care about the children under their care. If these wonderful people ever have bad days, I wouldn’t know it — because they are always smiling and pleasant to the parents and especially to the children. The center is colorful, clean, secure and the amenities for the little ones are pint-sized — so adorable! Childtime isn’t the cheapest option in the area, but they are hands down the absolute best. My daughter(2 ½) LOVES her teachers and gleefully waves goodbye when I leave. She’s singing songs at home that she learns at Childtime, including a very passable rendition of the ABC’s :) She draws pictures of her teachers along side her parents and brother — so I know she is very attached to them(as they are to her). Music — they have it. In fact, they have a guitarist come in once a week to play for the children. My daughter loves Mr Ray! She’s also nearly potty trained, so excited to wear panties and loves to be cheered through her successes. They encourage courtesy and my daughter says«please», «thank you» and«I’m sorry». Unlike the awful experiences with putting my son in daycare, I never feel like I’m rescuing her by picking her up. It makes me emotional to think about the peace of mind I have with this center than I never had with my oldest child. I’ve had to work a little harder to keep my daughter at Childtime, but it’s worth every penny. Try them! You wont be disappointed!
