Stopped in here for lunch with co-workers earlier this week. I ordered the turkey club with broccoli on the side. I think I liked this place better when it was Marie Calendars. The food was ok, and my co-workers said the same, and they had ordered the delicious sounding brie and mushroom chicken. The food took forever, and our waitress was inattentive. She brought us balsamic vinegar that was empty! And we ask to ask for our bread basket. We asked for the check and said that we were in a hurry, but she took someone else’s order while the check was right in her hand! I’ll need to try again and have my favorite from when it was Marie Calendars — the 4 cheese grilled cheese and the strawberry lemonade — both of those are divine! It’s good home cooked style food overall in a homey atmosphere.

I love Cocos. I have always had very friendly and efficient waitresses. The menu is great, and it gives you a calorie count on each dish. Their light and fit fare is very tasty, including the feta cheese salad and the egg white omelet. I like also the combo dishes that feature quiche, soup and salad, etc. It’s very good. Their bran muffins and pies are terrific too. I ordered three pies for Thanksgiving. I decided this year not to stay up until three in the morning baking, I was glad I ordered the pies, two pumpkin and one apple/cheese. They were great, and I was happy because i wasn’t exhausted all Thanksgiving Day.

Went for the first time today and, holy hell, I’m lamenting lost time for never eating here sooner! We went for breakfast and I ordered a seasonal special that came with 2 eggs, potatoes, 3 slices of bacon, 3 links of sausage, and 3 pumpkin-nut pancakes with a whipped pumpkin topping. I was in heaven and agony simultaneously! Heaven, because the food was incredible and tasted like love and rainbows and sunshine in my mouth. Agony, because there was no way I would ever be able to finish it all and I was so sad the meal would eventually end. While looking at the menu I already decided(before ever having tasted) that I MUST order a whole pie to serve at Thanksgiving dinner. I am making my family go back there asap(probably this week sometime) so I can try their dinner items. Give it a shot — you will NOT be disappointed!

Not a bad place to eat, but nothing special either. In all fairness to Coco’s though I’m going to say this. They do try and they work with what they have to work with. Some problems are both managerial and corporate. These waitresses do try and I have noticed that. I think the bldg. needs some maintenance, the AC for one. Can’t seem to adjust it properly. The rest of this I’m just going to say. I don’t enjoy eating out in Tucson. I just feel something is off in its restaurant scene, and the ability to attract businesses. No shortage of fast food joints though. Not my scene.

They have an amazing selection of pies. I was happy with the waitress and my food arrived in an average amount of time. The price is favorable and they have a large selection. The interior could use an upgrade as it’s rather outdated.

This place gets an extra star for having a rock star waitress. Sadly, I’m getting old and can’t remember her name to save my life. Hope maybe? Anyway, our first visit on our recent excursion to Tucson we were seated by a meth-addicted hostess and served by a spacey waitress. Hey, at least the remodel was complete. They completely changed the menu though, and it now features mostly high-carb, worse-than-dessert, IHOP-style breakfast combos. We skipped a few days and got super-waitress though. I love a lady who keeps my coffee cup full.

We stopped into this restaurant on a lark while running some errands. The décor could certainly use some updating. It looks like the tables, booths and carpet haven’t been changed since the 80’s. When we entered there were only a few people in the restaurant and although we’re both middle aged we felt like teenagers compared to the rest of the clientele! The service was friendly but getting our food took forever. We didn’t order anything complicated by an stretch. The food itself was decent. The soups are very good. I ordered their pancakes and they were good although I’ve had better. The bacon was tasty and cooked nicely. Overall, this is a fair restaurant with decent food but certainly nothing outstanding. It reminded me of a slightly run down version of Marie Callendar’s complete with pies for sale.
