Cost Cutters

Some hairdressers get really scissor happy. I asked for a trim. What is a trim? ½ inch? 1 inch? Reasonable. I also tell her to cut off all that is damaged and to show me before she cuts, and we agreed on a length. I’m growing out my hair so my ends were a faded color BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT IT IS DAMAGED. I wanted my split ends cut off, that was it. And although it looks like 3 inches were cut, she explains it was two. WHATEVER THE CASE, IT IS STILL WAY MORE THAN ONE INCH. Now I’m back to the length I had 7 months ago. Heidi ho. Great.

This salon provides excellent products and services for very inexpensive prices. I have been using their cut, color, and wax services monthly for over four years and I have never had any problem. It is great to be able to call in to make an appointment with my favorite stylist for color services. I am not sure many people realize you can make advance appointments for some services such as color or perms but it makes a great place to have my hair done at very reasonable prices over the top to excellent. They have a system of being able to call in for haircuts close to the time you want to have the cut too which I do not understand because I have never used just that service but anyone wanting just a haircut should call in advance to get info to avoid having to wait. This salon is more like a full service fancy salon with great stylists than just a fast haircut place where you walk in and wait for a cut if you know how their system works. All of the stylists are carefully chosen by the manager who has worked for the company for many years. They are friendly, helpful, and experienced professionals. The shop is always very clean and provides a comfortable setting for the services desired. Lots of available free parking right outside the door makes this particular location much better for most people than the nearby location at Park/​University. This Campbell Plaza location is very conveniently located just a few doors north of Albertsons, Ross and Staples.

This place does a great job and at a great price. Highly recommend! The stylists are all friendly and I have been happy every time. They also have given me some great recommendations on products for styling.

Let me say that I have had good service at other locations, not this one. The girl, very very young, took all of three minuets to cut my hair. I was not happy when I left but I figured how bad could it be. Well when I got home I had to do a hair touch-​up. Long pieces everywhere, side burns one was two inches shorted than the other one. I would say run from this location and go to another!

This is where I get my hair cut. So far every time I have left with shorter hair than when I arrived, I am very satisfied.
