I am a COX stockholder and I now totally understand why people are no longer using Cox Cable/Communications and going to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc… I have had cox cable since its inception and although we refuse to do the«math», I am guessing we have paid over 50K in service charges over the many many many years. We are now paying $ 80 for BASIC cable with 1 television and they seem to think that $ 80 is cool… they wont respond to our email to their corporate offices and p. s., their customer service or loyalty department should be renamed customer nonservice or WEDONTGIVE A DAMNABOUTYOURLOYALTY department. I see from this page that COXDOESNOTRESPOND to its customers concerns, so obviously this message is in vein, but hey, when I sell that stock and go to another carrier, COX will be very sad because they lost their most loyal and probably first customer. COX = DONTBOTHER/FIND ANOTHERCABLECOMPANY

Cox sucks… well Cox. During a move, they put a new modem in not telling me it cost $ 150. Then, when I call their alleged customer service, they tell me I have to take the modem in myself and exchange it, and then ostensibly hook up the other one. All because they lied. Cox are liars and thieves. Beware.

Things improved considerably when we approached Cox management directly. It shouldn’t take such dramatic action, but sometimes it helps all concerned to focus on an issue. We kicked up our subscription as a result and now commonly get 60 Mbps speeds. Thanks, Cox.

I wish I could give COX negative stars. By far the WORST cable company I have ever encountered. The graphics look like they are from 1980 and we pay for HD/DVR. We are moving and had some deal for HBO, we are getting charged $ 240 for cancelling it before 2 years. It’s BS and it’s just a way for these shadeballs to make more money. I’ve never even heard of a cable company doing that. Basically only use them if they are your only option and even then I would think twice. Ridiculous.

I kiss you on the lips… expensive, yes… but I get really good speeds and very reliable service from these boys.
