After reading the great reviews, I called to make an appointment, but was denied an appointment because I obtained my health insurance plan through ACA (Affordable Care Act) at
. The person who answered the phone initially asked me what health insurance plan I had. I told her United Healthcare. She asked me if it was through my employer or a private plan. I said it was through the ACA, but she didn’t even know what ACA meant. Who works in a medical office and doesn’t know what ACA stands for? She then told me that they didn’t accept my plan. I said that Dr. Myers was listed as a provider in my plan’s provider directory, but she still claimed they would not accept my insurance. I asked to speak to someone else, but she said she was the only person there. She had a snobby attitude towards ACA plans which I didn’t appreciate.
The reason I got a plan through ACA was because the plan through my employer had higher premiums, higher deductibles, and less coverage than my ACA plan. If you got your plan through ACA, don’t bother calling this place. Dr. Myers, you should remove yourself from United Healthcare’s provider directory if you are refusing to accept patients who bought their United Healthcare plan through ACA. I am also reporting this to United Healthcare.

This my man is funny and kind and human — not at all like some of the other doctors I’ve seen. He has never failed to listen to me and address my concerns.

I live in Marana and drive all the way out to see him. He is very clinical and does not run unnecessary tests. He is also compassionate and thorough. For example, I was having bursitis from my tailor’s bunions and he said, «I am going to send you to a podiatrist who is not slicy-​dicey because in my thirty years as a doctor I have seen three foot surgeries that made the patient better.»
He also has a great sense of humor and always puts his patients at ease. He has his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and has a passion for photography and electronics; if you have an interest in either, you will get along with him famously.

Dr. Myers rocks! Helpful, and he really listens. He also explains everything so you know whats going on, and he is a DO, meaning he also knows how to deal with back and neck pain.
I would recomend Dr. Myers to anyone I know.
