After another dentist in Tucson, (Leatt Mednick) suggested I needed a very expensive deep cleaning I wanted another opinion, so I went to Doug McMaster. McMaster told me the same thing, this time at $ 1200 or $ 300 per quarter. I finally drove back to LA for my previous dentist and hygienist to see me and they didn’t think I needed a deep cleaning. They did suggest I get a more frequent cleaning (every 3 – 4 months), which I will do (I’m 63). Anyway, $ 108 later, I’m told I’m in good shape as long as I keep up. I was leery of the high cost and that I’d never even heard the words, «deep cleaning,» before! McMaster comes highly recommended as you can see by the reviews. He was very kind, sitting down with me, a new patient, and going over my history patiently. Make your own judgements. I’ve made mine.

Have you ever met a person who was simply meant to do their profession? Some people are put on this earth to excel at the highest level of their craft. That is Dr. McMaster. He lives and breathes cosmetic dentistry. He dreams about your teeth at night.
While Dr. McMaster was born to be a dentist, I was born with a freak lateral incisor. I basically had a molar next to my front tooth. Yes, it was as ugly as it sounds. Over the years I had tons of work done on that annoying azz tooth. It was drilled, filed and bonded into submission. One day it just gave up and died on me. It went dim, like someone turned out the lights and closed up shop. My husband and I affectionately named it «Brownie’ and I continued to sport that dark prince of a tooth for several years, until I met Dr. McMaster and he recommended a root canal and a crown or an implant.
Dr. McMaster IS NOT CHEAP. Dr. McMaster IS NOT a preferred provider through Delta dental. You have to PAY UP FRONT and wait for reimbursement. You will not get refunded for the full amount. You will PAY A LOT of money, and your meowth will thank you for it. Dr. McMaster does offer multiple payment plans, so you should be able to find one that will work for your budget.
While I still wax poetic about my baby, Brownie, the crown that I have today is better than the tooth God gave me to begin with. My smile is flawless, and I’ve never been more happy. Let Dr. McMaster make you look and feel the same way.

At first I thought the office was a bit much with complimentary juice, coffee, every one seeming very eager to welcome me for my first appointment.
Then I found out every one just loves working there and goes the extra mile to make it the most pleasant dentist office possible.
Dr. McMaster did a partial crown for me and it’s very fine workmanship. He even called me that evening to make sure I was doing all right.
Pros:
Concierge-​like atmosphere.
Complimentary ipod if you want one, which helps take your mind off that drill.
Complimentary magazines, newspapers
Complimentary juice, coffee, and water in the waiting room.
Probably more comfort-​oriented things that I’m forgetting.
Every one is very friendly and goes out of their way to make your visit pleasant.
Very thorough initial visit.
Very skilled dentistry.
Very high-​tech office.
Payment plans if you need them.
Cons:
A bit more expensive than some. But when you’re getting a crown that you will have to live with every day for 15 or 20 years, what’s a hundred bucks or so extra to have it done really well?

The best dentist office in Tucson! I have been a patient for years. This office is always looking out for your best interest. On example was when my temporary crown came off on the weekend. I called the emergency number. Dr. McMaster called me back and had me come in to the office to place it back on. While in the office he checked to see if my permanent crown had come in with the recent delivery. It had arrived so instead of putting my temporary back on he took the extra time, on a Sunday, and put on my permanent crown. This saved me from coming back in for an extra appointment. And due to my work travel times allowed me to have my permanent crown on much sooner. And this great service is not just with the dentist. All of the staff is efficient and they make going to the dentist a pleasure!
