Earl’s Auto Shop

This shop is owned by a lying psychopathic crook. He quoted me $ 130 for a simple job and then charged me $ 295 for it, even though it took LESS time than he thought. When I protested, he grabbed my drink out of my hand, threw it at me, and then said he was keeping my car until I gave him cash for the repair (he also threw my debit card at me). I said I’d pay cash but that he was a thief and a liar, at which point he physically assaulted me (he kicked me in the back). Then his father came after me, waving a screwdriver, saying «I’m gonna mess you up if you don’t get out of here right now.» I left, of course, (after giving the inflated cash amount to another employee) and called the police. The police did nothing because all the owner’s employees and friends lied (of course) about the assaults I had suffered. So if you want to be ripped off and possibly physically attacked to boot, go to Earl’s for all your auto repair needs!

I had a broken stereo, license plate light, brakes, and needed an oil change. Chris and team took care of it all the same day, didn’t overcharge. In fact, they let me know that my brakes were just fine. They took care of it same day and all in all my repair was less than I even dreamed of paying. I appreciate you! Highly recommend to anybody in town.

Took my car there to get a 4^th opinion after she had already been in and out of different shops in Tucson:(poor baby I know:(well it turned out it wasn’t the spark plugs, or the ignition coil, or the intake manifold– but sugar/​salt in my gas tank!!! Why! Why?! Why me?! … Enough with my rant! Dropped the CE off at 2pm and they called us at 10:30pm to let us know! Didn’t like the diagnosis but I was super happy with the service they worked on my car an checked everything! They made sure she was running like a champ again and with no «BS»! Not too expensive but moderate for Tucson! Thanks guys now I have officially found a trusty mechanic!

Chris Tatro, the owner of Earls, is the best mechanic in town. It feels like his singular goal in life is to understand the inner workings of every internal combustion engine ever built.
