Just went through the eegees drive thru and had the single worst customer service ever. We had 7 hungry people in the car ready to eat. We placed our order with what sounded like 2 different people. They repeated it back correctly at the window. As I got ready to pay I had the nerve to ask for an extra cookie. Avery gave me a look of disgust that I added something else. She charged me then handed me our drinks then forgot the cup of water I had asked for when I ordered. I reminded her and she looks at me and grunts in exasperation! The people in the back seat of my car asked«was that toward you?» Because it was that loud! She’s getting my water and I ask her«is it a problem to ask for a cup of water?» Avery responds«yes when you keep asking for stuff in the drivethru at rush hour!» She goes on to tell me that it’s a problem because she’s doing everything alone WHAT??? This is a restaurant — I’m supposed to ask for stuff. I ask to speak to a manager because this girl is arguing with me. Zoraya comes to the window and is apologetic. There are 4 cars behind me so I quickly explain how awful it is for me to ask for water and a cookie– oh the horror. She tells me the fries are behind so we pull up to wait. A gentleman comes out with the wrong order but he’s nice and says he’ll be back. We finally get our order and make sure it’s all there. Then Maria comes out and again apologizes for her coworker. 3 out of 4 people were very nice but the one with the attitude makes this restaurant a must miss. Or if you do go, don’t ask for anything extra at the window that is apparently unacceptable. Update, received a gift card from Eegees — very nice of them to do. Haven’t been back to Tucson yet to be able to use it but it was a very nice gesture.

I have been coming to this EEGEES so often and for so many years that my phone autocorrected Eegee’s to all caps — if that doesn’t exhibit my excitement than hopefully this review will. Service here has always been extremely nice and accommodating. Every employee here has been delighted to serve us and always been nice and precise. I usually get the Ham and Cheese sandwiches but I’ve tried every sandwich and am a fan of them all(the season Sausage and peppers is made well but I’d rather stick to the grinders). They offer military discount which is nice considering that I’ve noticed the increase in price over the years. The EEGEES slushes are of course the main reason I keep coming back here. Every flavor is a triumph and Hollyberry is in my top 5. Be sure to come here in July when they have Watermelon. I’m usually gone so I have friends but it in bulk and freeze it for when I come back!

My favorite place in Tucson. The frozen drinks are incredible but packed with sugar. The sandwiches are amazing and I think it’s because their bread is so good. I love this place and go out of my way to hit it up as many times as possible whenever I’m in Tucson. My only complaint is that they’re not open late when I’m drunk and really craving a pizza pretzel. I wish they had one up in the Bay Area.

Well, it’s Eegees. If you’re thinking about going here, you probably already know what you want because it fills that little niche that you’ll only find there. As always, the drinks are great and huge, sandwiches are expensive, and the ranch fries are topped with that lame dried bacon bit stuff from the grocery store. This location in particular seems to have staff who aren’t completely there for whatever reason. Last time we were there, the cashier charged the family in front of us for 30 orders of fries when they wanted 3, and then seemed totally confused about how to fix it afterwards. You know… normal Tucson stuff.

I took my daughter here for lunch. She had a meatball sandwich and started throwing up within the hour. Poor thing has been sleeping and dry heaving for 6 hours now. I called and spoke with the evening manager and his response was that they check the temperature every 4 hours. Very disappointing, but as my other half says, «That’s what you get when kids run businesses.». Not only is my poor daughter sick, but now she’s missing her Girl Scout camp. Guaranteed that I will be calling the health department in the morning. I usually love Eegees, but won’t be revisiting this location!!!

To start, I want to say I love Eegee’s. Ever since I moved to Tucson this has been my go to place for sandwiches. But the visit today was very disappointing. It started by us thinking that the girl couldn’t hear our order through the drive thru because I had to repeat it several times. It turns out that she was too busy eating an Eegee’s to hear and/or help customers. We witnessed this for several minutes after we pulled up to the window. She never even looked at us even though we were sitting RIGHTTHERE. Finally after 5 min or so the shift leader took my card and didn’t look too happy. We waited some more. When we got home our sandwiches had no mayo and we barely had any fries. I felt I had been ripped off. After all, we paid over 17 bucks for two sandwiches and some fries. Neither of which were correct. Not going back to this location. If you do, beware the drive thru!

I eat here once or twice a month. The people are always friendly, the sandwiches are fresh, and the place is clean. The prices are a tiny bit more than Subway, but very much worth it.

Black Friday a group of six of us came in and ordered $ 50 worth of food. Armando took our order perfectly and informed us of the silver circle discount. We saved 10% on our order. Food and drink was great as always. Love eegees.

Eegees is its own thing. It shouldn’t be compared to Subway, Quiznos, Jersey Mikes, etc. It’s definitely not Baggins either… it’s just Eegees. I have to be in a very specific mood for an average sandwich that is supported by awesome crinkle cut fries and some quality ranch dip. Their Eegee drink? Meh… like any slushee or Slurpee, all the good stuff is sucked out and you are left with a cup of shaved flavorless ice. Of course you can throw some booze up in that joint and get nasty really quickly. And they currently have this buffalo ranch dip right now and«holy Mary, mother of god’ is it delicious… that was Goonies… I like Eegees… not sure why… its the fries…

This is definitely a «local» favorite because I don’t get it. Listen, I’m getting old and the eegee drinks are way too sweet for my palette. I tried… twice. I mean I kinda get it, little kids love that sickly sweet stuff and it’s perfect for college kids for a wake up sugar rush or to… ahem… «enhance» or enjoy whilst«enhanced». The sandwiches are good. Nothing I can’t make or get else where. The ingredients are fresh. The hubs loves the subs and the fries with ranch. The employees are nice as well. I wouldn’t seek out this place though.

I was very disappointed in the customer service tonight on the drive thru. It was clear that the staff cared more about speed than customer service. I had to repeat my order one by one, because the guy taking my order had to question everything… and I don’t mean just repeating your order at the end. Then when I pulled to the window, the girl didn’t give me the chance to ask for ranch sauce. She told me to pull up past the window for my food… then slammed the window and began laughing with the others in the drive thru. When I tried to get her attention to ask for the ranch sauce, one of the guys reaches around her to open the window and very rudely tells me to pull forward for my food… like I was a child! After fussing at them for the rude behavior and severe lack of customer service, the only thing they said was that they are made to question how you place your order. Really! Of all the times that I come here, nobody has ever questioned every detail of my order… much less been so rude about it! They need to try to focus more on customer service and not so much about rushing the customer!

Ahh, Tucson’s answer to the Subway Giant! How I prefer just about everything about Eegee’s, not just because it’s local, but because it’s just that much better. If I were to go on an Eegee diet, it would consist of fries and ranch, and foot long deluxe grinders with Pina Colada Eegees, and I would be down to 285 lbs in no time! But God would I love getting there… The bread — ahhh, light years ahead of the other guy. Sure, maybe not the same variety, but if the variety sucks then it doesn’t matter if they offer 5 kinds of suck. So Eegee’s is tasty and fresh and wonderful. The meats and cheeses and veggies and dressings and everything else — awesome quality. The tuna salad is great. The ranch and the French fries may be the best in Tucson. The drinks are quenching and addicting. The manager at this location is terrific. He is so great with the guests and so sharp — a true pleasure to give my business to. One tip on getting a 5 star rating(true of any Eegees, not just this location): Please, any way we can speed up the drive through? I know that everything is made to order and so it takes a little while — but sometimes it is unbearable. I have actually seen such a line that I will park and go inside and order and beat several cars in line! No big deal, just saying… Anyway, they are consistent and delicious. Keep up the nice work! And bring back that delicious egg salad soon!

I am a native and frankly its a Tucson tradition. I worked overseas for several years and anytime it was hot outside I found myself dreaming of a Pina Colada Eegee. I recently moved back to town and was shocked to realize a large is an extra extra large and the medium is most definitely a large, but for $.20 more size up and stick the left overs in the freezer. The ranch fries are good. I like the meatball sub with provolone. Are they amazing? Perhaps not, but they taste like Tucson and hot summer days, so really I don’t care. People have deep feelings about their favorite flavor. My brother will make cross country trips for Watermelon, but I have always loved Pina Colada and my telltale orange tongue after the fact.

I’m not a native Tucsonan so maybe I don’t get the vibe of Eegee’s but in my experience, it’s nothing more than an overpriced Subway with fries. Slushies are OK. Add alcohol. You can get better sandwiches and fries elsewhere for cheaper.

Tucson is pretty much synonymous with Eegee’s! This is our little gem of the desert! The«eegee» drinks I have found are indescribable to outsiders — truly one of a kind and ONLYINTUSCON! This is always my first stop after I land — even after a nice long 12 hour flight, I hit the drive-thru before even going home! I actually found out they ship(not super far, but Los Angeles was doable). It was quite pricey($ 90+) to ship a funpak — but well worth it for our little office party — Nice to finally have friends get a taste of all that goodness!
