John of Elegant Movers posted a response to me through Unilocal. He accused my husband of causing the damage and accused me of lying. As for what he calls eight lines of scratching he says could not have been caused by his (John) dragging the chest, he says the eight lines of scratches were caused by my husband dragging it. By his own logic, the scratches were caused by the chest being dragged. And several lines are possible in one drag because of the width of the deteriated water damaged legs made several contact points along the floor. It remains true the scratches did not appear until our moving day and John is the only one who moved the chest.

John and his crew packed our 3-​bedroom house and moved everything to our new home with no damage. They were prompt, hard-​working and efficient, and they even came back after we had unpacked to pick up the boxes and rearrange the furniture. I would definitely use them again.

The crew from Elegant movers were great. They came on time, called ahead the night before and the work was done in less time than the quote. They were hard working and polite. Careful with all the heavy items. We will def. use them again when we return to Tucson.

John, the owner, and his crew are professional and easy to work with. They will pack everything immediately prior to moving. The cost is reasonable and, as an added benefit, they will pick up all the uses paper, shrink wrap and boxes to reuse. I loved not having to worry about recycling. Just a call to John and the stuff is gone!
