Elite Event Botanical Gardens

This was a great evening to be out in the Botanical Gardens! We enjoyed some light drinks with some great tamales from Tucson Tamale. It was all really good! Plus we had a great night looking at all the amazing lego pieces and going and seeing the butterfly gardens. The butterfly gardens was unlike anything I have ever seen, it was a great experience! We were able to look at the Legos and then get in fun groups and go on a scavenger hunt!
Good company, good atmosphere, good food and drink… what more could we ask for? Thank you Bella and everyone who came for such a great event!

This event was so much fun! What more could I have asked for? Being outdoors with other awesome Unilocalers, going on a scavenger hunt to find LEGO pieces of art, great food from Tucson Tamale company and yummy popsicles!

This was my first Elite Event, and it was great! I loved the butterfly display, the food from Tamale Co. was excellent, and the scavenger hunt was a really fun activity. I’ll definitely be returning to the botanical gardens at some point in future.

What a wonderful night to be out in the garden and see giant Dragon flies, spiders, life size deer, people, and other amazing displays of Lego creations. I really enjoyed the butterfly garden and seeing all the cool colors and sizes of extraordinary creatures flying around. Tucson Tamale and the Botanical café offered food and treats for us Unilocalers to enjoy while we attempted to turn a pile of Legos into trees. It’s much harder than it looks. I can’t believe I’ve never been to the Botanical Garden in Tucson before but will definitely be making future visits to enjoy the oasis in the desert.

What a fantastic event — the Botanical gardens looked beautiful at night. I started the night by taking a tour of the Butterfly garden and I couldn’t believe it that a butterfly landed on my arm! It was magical! Back at the event space, I tried some different types of tamales from Tucson Tamale and a Mango and Lime popsicle. We also had an assortment of wine and water to quench our thirsts. The botanical gardens have a beautiful back space that is perfect for events (covered and uncovered). We then were divided into teams and went on a scavenger hunt. The exhibit we saw were the lego sculptures and they were magnificent. What an amazing night! We all went to the gift shop afterwards.

Awesome event! We got to enjoy tamales from the Tucson Tamale Company, check out the Lego Exhibit, and the Butterfly Exhibit in the Botanical Gardens. We got to go on a scavenger hunt through the gardens, and day passes were prizes for the winning teams, and I actually won a one year family pass for having the most posts on Instagram. Pedro was our photographer, and did a great job taking pictures of everything.

This was a top notch event at the Gardens. We checked in right on time and enjoyed some tamales from the Tucson Tamale Company, along with drinks, as we all made trees out of Legos.
There was a space of time to explore the gardens, and then we split up into teams for the scavenger hunt. That was a whirlwind good time, racing around to find all 13 giant Lego sculptures and take selfies with every one. Our team tied for first and we got free passes to the garden.
Then we ate paletas, drank more, and got out fun gift bags with a jigsaw puzzle, playing cards, a tie tack, a highlighter that looks like a Lego brick, and a coupon for the gift shop. It was an all-​around lovely night.

This was one of the best Elite events I’ve been at. The activities were great and it was very dynamic. Team activities and also time to mingle and eat. Yes, there was not and endless bar of drinks but it was an evening of endless fun!

Wow this was such a great event!!! Super low key, with those amazing tamales from The Tucson Tamale Company and Lego’s, not to mention colorful frogs and butterflies. I love the new entrance into the garden, it perfectly frames and sets the mood for what’s to come.
I have been meaning to renew my membership, this event made me do it. Lego’s in the Garden is something everyone needs to experience.

This evening, a bunch of Unilocalers met up for a night filled with excitement and beauty. We had the entire garden to our self, to roam freely as we pleased.
Food was provided by «Tucson Tamale Compay» — my favorite tamale was the green chili. I also had a few glasses of red wine to wash all the delicious tamales!
The butterfly garden was amazing! Saw an array of different butterflies from all over the world! Being in the building makes you feel, you’re in a fantasy. I could probably hang out there and relieve some work stress!
After the garden tour, we played an awesome social game. We were matched up with random fellow Unilocalers and went on a scavenger hunt! Each team had to go around collecting tube cleaners matching their team color. The 1^st team to collect all 13 tubes and snap pictures with the 13 items WINS! Our team– tied for 1^st place and got 2 free admissions to the garden. YAY! GO GREEN TEAM!
I had a blast meeting the new Unilocalers along with conversing with the old! Overall this was a great experience, would love to come again. Thanks for the amazing evening Bella! great job like always!

The best event yet!!! The 2 hours went by so fast! This was an awesome way to spend my birthday! We saw the butterfly exhibit that I’ve been wanting to go for years — it was as great as I thought it would be. There were so many butterfly’s and we saw some of the same frogs that we saw in Costa Rica. We had awesome tamales from Tucson Tamale Company, and delicious pumpkin beer! Everything was perfect for the season. We had time to walk around and really enjoy the lego sculptures, then we were paired up for a scavenger hunt, where our team found sculptures and took selfies of our group, our team won, so we have tickets to go back and see everything during the day! Bella is so amazing at arranging these events, they couldn’t have picked a better person for her job. We also got goodies bags with a custom Unilocal lego, puzzles, bucks for the gift shop etc… Tons of fun, and so fun to meet more fellow Unilocalers!

I have yet to see the Tucson Botanical Gardens, so what a treat. A Unilocal Elite (plus one) event, my Unilocal family and great Tucson Tamales. WIN WIN WIN. I loved seeing the butterfly room and rushed over as soon as I arrived. Those lovely creatures were amazing and we got to see mini frogs in the same room. A rainbow of delights. Even more super awesome were huge Lego creations all over the park of animals, insects and flowers. Since it was night time they were highlighted with spotlights and boy where they vibrant and made up of thousands of pieces. What really was a highlight was the scavenger hunt; I was sure my team Red of Steph G, Tom G, Karl K and myself would win. Alas no. With an event so super at a great venue we all were winners tonight. I can’t wait to go back and check out the Botanical Gardens soon. Thank you Bella for bringing us all together, as I had a lovely evening.
