I came here with some friends and was impressed by my whole experience. The wait staff was super attentive and was ready with suggestions and solutions to everything. Our table was wobbling so he resourcefully jumped on a solution to balance out the feet. He offered many tastings of the beers I was interested in and helped guide me to find exactly what I was in the mood for. They have a long list of beers, many of which I’d never had the chance to try, and so his expertise was welcomed. The overall ambiance was great; aged and salvaged woods are used in the tables and on the walls to create a classy, and authentic vibe. The music was a bit too loud for chatting across the table with my group but it’d be a great place for small groups or dates looking for great ambiance, service and beer on the weekend.

They have an amazing selection of beers and their brunch is pretty good. The actual brunch menu is pretty limited but the meals are excellent. Along with the quality ingredients and well topped off michelada, the service was amazing. The service was the best part. I highly recommend this place and will continue to come here for drinks regularly.

My experience today was phenomenal! Alber was our server and he went above and beyond! He was attentive, he was patient and he brought us samples that we actually really loved and ended up buying. It was a perfect brunch. We were a little wary when we first got there, but he eased our minds and made everything 100000% worth it. So thank you for an amazing time! You’ve found a forever guest

I didn’t get to try enough stuff here to grant the full five stars, but the nosh I sampled was fabulous — deviled eggs, somebody else’s salad and the burger. If you can’t find something to quaff on the wine list, the taps in the front, or the taps in the back, then either you have horrible taste and need to stick with Coors Light, you’re snobby, you’re boring, or you didn’t ask enough questions. They feature highlights from breweries near and far and they know their stuff. When it warms up, I’ll try the patio out back, which is also the way to Public Brewhouse(in case you want to change venues mid-evening). Inside is rustic-chic with board games in the back. I had no idea this place existed, but it’s snuggled into the south part of 4th Ave near the hotel and well worth a little search.

These guys are great, we had a couple of beers at Public Brewhouse, we got hungry and walked over and ordered not only did they bring the burgers to the bar but they also brought us a whole bottle of Heinz Ketchup because one of the ladies in our party did not like the house made ketchup. I THINK the house ketchup is amazing, it has a subtle flavore of bbq sauce and BACON! LOVETHISBURGER!!!

Completely shocked at all the gourmet touches this lil brew place did. I ordered a Zip burger and was wildly impressed. It was juicy, and full of flavor. The zip sauce that is on the burger is a combination of worcheshire, and onions and it’s delicious. I got fries and asked for ranch. This ranch is unlike any other ranch I’ve ever tasted. It was dilly and fresh. Very unique. My friend got the fish and chips. Not only was the fish cooked perfectly, but the coleslaw that accompanied it was superb. Now, I’m not normally a coleslaw person, but this, this was so yummy. It was made only from purple cabbage and was creamy and the most original part??? ITHASCAYENNEINIT. I mean talk about a wow factor. I suggest you go there. Not because they have 24 different beers on tap, or because the wait staff is attentive and knowledgeable, but because this little joint has awesome food!

Great beer room, I would definitely recommend. This will definitely be my new hang out on 4th ave The bartenders were polite and knowledgeable. He even let me sample a few of the beers before I made my choice. Environment and ambience is nice. They have a back patio with a fire pit and also a second tap room adjacent to the main room. Searing is limited but manageable. I ordered the fish and chips and they were good, but the fish was overbreaded and also fried a little more than I would have liked.

Ermanos was definitely on my to-try since it’s opening this fall. Finallt, I got the chance to last weekend. The boyfriend and I stopped by for a drink on date night to check it out. We walked in and atmosphere was killer! Unique paintings, low lighting, wood everywhere. This place had it down! We actually were so mesmerized that we walked the length of the entire bar before we sat down just to see more. There is both a welcoming bar, cozy looking seating for more intimate parties and a back room that we could not tell if it was for private seating or a beer garden. We took a seat at the bar and were greeted by the lovely Anya. She was incredibly hospitable and I am assuming she is involved with running the show just in how she carried herself. I really tend to judge a place(hard…) on their wine list. They certainly had a pretty good one! It was both interesting enough for a dedicated wino, yet easy to navigate for a novice. I am also sure if anyone had any questions, the staff would be eager and ready to help! Anya allowed me to try a couple selections before committing to a glass. They serve different sizes of wine too, which I love. Beer selection was killer. Wide selection of local and craft taps and bottles. Haven’t tried the food, but seems like a stop up from wine bar food. Cannot wait to go back!

Such a cool, laid back, relaxing space! So much beer, so little time! I enjoyed a Pueblo Vida blonde and it was delish! Really helped me power on through Christmas shopping. The bartender also made the experience joyable. He was pleasant even though it was busy and he was alone. We also enjoyed the hummus app and it was excellent. I love it when hummus apps come with more veggies than bread ! This was a great experience and a place i can see myself coming back to often. The End.

I really enjoy hitting this place when I’m on 4th avenue and recommend it to friends often. This place is a lot more upscale compared to its surrounding bars and hangouts on 4th ave. Not only do they have a wide selection of beer, ciders and wines but they also have a great food selection too. I’ve came here for a few drinks and appetizers and have really enjoyed myself. Great seating thats very comfortable for a larger group and the atmosphere is really nice, the lighting and design makes this place intimate and cozy.

Visiting from San Diego so standards are probably too high. Food looks good, I didn’t try it. Beer was exceptional but it came from other states. Bar is clunky with one tv, only optimal viewing for a few at the bar… sooo design flaw. I know it’s not a sports bar but to change a major football game mid way through when people were watching and put on Pee Wee’s Big Adventure from your Netflix account smacks of local hipsteriffic without appealing to masses. Amateur move because I overheard two sets of customers tell themselves they were leaving to drink elsewhere. Strike that… just saw another leave. Bar101 — don’t make it a clubhouse for your buddies and pay attention to outside desires.

Wow. The combination of a fabulous wine bar and the best selection of craft beers with tasty food for Tucson. The guys behind the bar really know thier shit. Pardon me. They have some of the best single release beer selections. I.e. Gose sours. I guess they now have Wednesday wine tastings too. The ceviche is omg-amazing avacado, fresh fish and salty with chips. Check it out friends

Ermanos is definitely a great addition to 4th Ave as it provides a definite change of scenery and atmosphere. It makes for a great spot to grab a drink, watch a game or listen to live music. The beer selection seems to be the draw here. They’ve got quite the list and beer flights are an option too! The wine selection is a fair. Ermanos is especially great because it offer three different seating areas– main dining and bar, the back room which has another bar, board games and some community seating and lastly, the patio. The space is definitely inviting the staff are friendly. The food is a-ok. I’m not sure I’ve had anything yet that I am dying to go back for. The offerings are your standard New American menu items– burger, deviled eggs, etc. I like this place for casual night out.

What keeps me coming back? The on-point beer selection they have going on here. The past few times I’ve been, they have had different variations of my new favorite style of beers — Gose(gose-uh) and sour farmhouse style ales. So good, but so hard to find! Ermanos is a good place to come if you want to try some good/new/random beers and drinks. Wife and I have come here a couple of times for date-night and their happy hour is great also — last time I had the Zip Burger($ 8 on happy hour) and it was 9⁄10 amazing. Definitely a good place to bring a date, or a couple friends to hang out in the back room or on the patio. This is one of my new favorite places downtown/on 4th, see ya next time!

Found a new beer joint in Tucson and it is called Ermanos! Found this place driving around and saw that they had a nice TV with Sunday Night Football. Walked up to the front door and looked at the menu and peeked in at the décor/vibe and we were sold. As I always say, I love a place with exposed brick, dim lighting and a chill vibe and this place definitely had all of that and then some. Grabbed a seat at the bar and chatted with the girl and guy behind the bar and found out the place has been open since April. I was impressed by the music he had playing on his iPad onto the sound system. He had some Erykah Badu, Tribe Called Quest and Maxwell going and I was feeling it. We grabbed some pretty good brews that they had on the electronic menu board behind the bar. I got the Ballast Point Victory at the Sea American Porter out of San Diego(10% ABV) and it was awesome. I got some other beer around the 10.5% mark after that one. The Zip Burger was very good as it was packed with flavor… it included burnt onions and«zip sauce». Good place and I imagine the local University of Arizona students will love this place this coming fall.

I recently held a networking event for a 30 person group in the tasting room at Ermanos and it was a great success. Mark was very helpful during event planning, and communicated frequently over email. The event took place from 5 — 8 pm on a Thursday, so we had a bar minimum to satisfy. The staff was very attentive to our group, and the two bartenders working our room were on top of things and ensured everyone had food and drink. The beer selection is fantastic — which was never an issue. I am happy to report that the food has improved since I was there last, which is great news. Ermanos is finding its place in Tucson, and the tasting room in the back is great for hosting events. The beer is delicious, the food has improved, and the service is excellent.

Come for the drinks, leave for the food. At first glance, it’s difficult to tell if Ermanos is a fancy bar that serves food, or a concept restaurant that serves beer and wine. When I came in here with some other people one Friday evening, half the restaurant was empty but those tables were marked«reserved». The only seating available was at one of their several bars — or the patio, but it was far too hot out, and the scenery around the patio is rusted old cars and run-down backyards. We sat at a makeshift bar in the back of the restaurant, and almost knocked drinks off of it twice because it’s not attached to the ground and is top-heavy. Service was painfully slow although the restaurant was fully staffed. They were fairly busy, other than the large number of empty reserved tables. Most of the restaurant was standing room only. When we ordered food — the grilled cheese and the Zip burger — it took 45 minutes to arrive. I assume it didn’t take that long to cook, though, because all of it was cold by the time it arrived. The grilled cheese was interesting. It was labeled as 5 cheeses and onion jam. One of the cheeses was finely grated and sprinkled over the top, and had the texture of air. But the flavor of the onion jam overpowered any cheese taste in every bite of the sandwich, and it made me question the need for 5 different cheeses when you can’t taste them. The bread could have been toasted Wonder Bread, for all I know, because it was tasteless white bread and very unimpressive. And, again, the sandwich was cold. The onion jam was good, though. I can’t imagine how Ermanos competes when there are so many restaurants and bars on 4th Avenue to choose from. It might be a good place to meet for drinks in another location, but there are too many other options within walking distance where you can also get good food.

Ermanos is a welcome addition to this side of 4th Avenue. Before Ermanos, this patch of pavement catered only to the college and«bro» crowd. If you wanted to have a nice beer or glass of wine with any sort of ambiance, establishments on Congress(or T&B on 7th Ave) were your only bets. Last Friday, my friends and I visited and tried a wide selection of beverages. I highly recommend their sour(currently #5 on their beer list.) I enjoyed the décor, music, quirky bar food, patio, and board games. We had a bunch of fun :) My new hangout spot for 2015.

I think is my new favorite spot in town! The ambiance is cozy and intimate. There’s a large selection of wine and beer, and there’s also food served. I love the fact that there’s board games, such as Jenga, Connect Four, Cranium, and more. And I love the back patio, with the string lighting. I drink only sweet/fruity drinks, and they definitely have some wines that fit my particular drink pallet. My favorite wine so far is the Heinz Eifel Auslese, which is rich and full with aromas and flavors of honey, almonds, apricots, peaches, lime and mango. It’s perfect on a nice evening out. I can’t wait to come back!!!
