I tried this place for the first time today. I usually go to Mindy’s Queen Nails across the street. Essie nails definitely are not the friendliest people ever. I had old acrylics on and they removed them by just ripping them off and it was very painful. The woman who did my nails was very rude with her remarks and blamed me for her not being able to understand what I was saying. It is dead quiet there with no music or anything so it feels a bit awkward. They did a pretty good job on my French tip gel nails, but I probably won’t be back. I prefer the place across the street!

Horrible experience. The person doing my pedicure bugged me the entire time to buy their upgraded pedicure which I said no thank you to many times. She then started criticizing my manicure which I did my self and was fine by my standards. She went so far as to laugh and point, etc. By the time I left she must have bugged me about 20 times to upgrade or also do a manicure. When I go for a mani or pedi service I want a quiet peaceful experience that is enjoyable and not annoying. I will not be back. The manager needs to get a clue about what her employees are doing otherwise I don’t think they will last very long.

Unclean, unsanitary… worst pedicure ever! The woman scraped the side of my foot with the metal utensil she was using to scrape my heel, causing my foot to bleed. She proceeded to carry on with my pedicure as if my foot was not bleeding. Obviously the equipment was not sanitized, because my foot became very infected. Over the course of six weeks, I endured several visits to medical facilities, a tetanus shot, three rounds of antibiotics, an x-ray, and tests for mersa and staff infections, This place should be shut down due to unsanitary conditions and violation of the health code.

Im a regular here. I get acrylic nails and pedicures. My husband also loves to get a pedicure here. The prices are very reasonable. Mei is the best nail tech and kim is really good at pedi. All the ladies are super nice. They keep everything nice and clean.

I got a mani-pedi here last week. I went for the deluxe pedicure and she did a really great job, I didn’t recognize my own feet. The manicure was pretty basic, I don’t do fake nails or anything so it’s hard to judge their skills in that area. She did a great job on the color and was incredibly nice. Also, I should mention, they have the best massage chairs I’ve ever been in.

Worst pedicure I have ever received. Rushed through the entire process. I had to politely asked her to slow down because she was being a little too rough. Also, Essie charges an extra $ 5 to «remove calluses” — which was brought up when it was time to pay! Never have I seen this not included in a typical pedicure. Will not be back next time I am in town.

I took my daughters to get a pedicure and 2 of us got a nail fill. pedicures were awesome. which is why they got 1 star… the fill. wow. if you don’t know what your doing. don’t attempt to do it. my daughters nails looked awful. they were all uneven and then instead of fixing them they used black nail polish on top of the acrylic to straighten the line. WHATTHEHECK! mine were not as bad as I think the girl that did them somewhat knew what she was doing. I asked for a color on the display of her«fake hands» on her desk and she said they don’t have that color. I asked if they had the colors already made on some fake nails because i don’t like just picking a powder. they always look different after they are done. but I picked one that was almost what I wanted. just don’t display something if you don’t have it. that is stupid. I would not get any kind of acrylic nails done here or fills… they just aren’t ready for that.
