Highly recommended everyone else charged 400 to 500 hundred and gave us bull shit not these guys had the job done in less than a hour only charged us for what we needed done came out to us charged us a 100 bucks, very knowledgeable the best in town

I have used them twice before and previously was happy. I have even recommended them in the past. I just had a terrible experience here. Called them on Friday to ask them for a quote on replacing a catalytic converter. The mechanic got on the phone and told me that he didn’t think the problem would be the cat, bring it in yada yada yada. I took it in and told the mechanic again, it IS the cat. This vehicle is known for it, I can hear it rattle. They keep it over the weekend and call me monday to tell me that the problem isn’t the catalytic converter, it’s the O2 sensor and a vacuum leak. This is where the trouble comes in, I asked if they checked the cat and they say yes, it’s fine a quote me on the other issues. I say go ahead. I take responsibility for ignoring my own knowledge. The problem comes in when I take the car back (I had not made the 1.5 mile drive home when it started again) I call them and tell them I’m returning. They say will have a quote to fix the cat when I get there. I get there and there is no quote yet. A mechanic comes out to tell me the same three statements over and over. The owners wife finally gets the call for the quote. When she gets off the phone, I ask her for the quote. She tells me they DONT REPLACE CATALYTIC CONVERTERS BECAUSE IT REQUIRES WELDING AND THEY DONT DO THAT. She was getting a quote from another place that will give me a discount. She starts in on the same line that the mechanic used and I asked another two times for the quote. At this point I am more than frustrated, have paid them (in cash as they requested) and the vehicle is still not fixed. I raise my voice and ask for the quote again, and I am told to leave because I have been disrespectful. I request the diagnosis fee back. I am told to leave and never return. I assure you, returning was not a concern.

Evolution mechanics is the best that I’ve ever seen they tell it how it is no hassles no BS there reasonable and they’re just awesome they have worked on my wife’s 93 k2500 suburban an every time its just better than before. one of the best family orientated business I seen here in Tucson. I brought my ’97 Toyota Avalon in for some regular maintenance, and I knew it needed some work. Don, the owner of Evolution Mechanics, did the troubleshooting himself and called me with a very detailed explanation of work that should be done on it. There was absolutely no pressure, and he actually said none of the work had to be done right away. That was a relief! He did not try to scare me into getting the work done. I felt that he was treating me very fairly. I authorized the work. They did a great job, and when the total came to a bit over his original estimate, he adjusted the bill to come in at the original estimate. I had gotten estimates for this work before, and Evolution Mechanics beat the other guys. They also offered to drive me home or pick me up to get my car. I will definitely use them again, and I highly recommend them for good, honest work, great service, and very good prices.

If you need a mechanic I highly suggest Evolution Mechanics on Glenn/​Alvernon. They were awesome! Firestone quoted me $ 536 for parts and labor after $ 50 bucks off. Evolution I bought my own parts for about $ 107 and paid $ 90 for labor. They finished the whole job in less than an hour and a half (Rotors, Calipers, Pads). Awesome shop!
They were also honest about other things wrong with my vehicle. I know this because I already knew about the issues. The didn’t stress about getting any of the other work done, because it wasn’t needed. Just kind of a hey if you have the time and money here are a couple little things, but I wouldn’t stress out about them.

Can no longer bring in your own parts, but the ones they had were the same price as the parts store anyway so still just as good fo a deal as before! I really can’t tell you how much this place rocks.
