If you need glasses made ASAP, this isn’t a bad place to go, as you can usually get two pairs, including lenses, for under $ 100. Just be prepared for the place to be crowded, especially evenings and weekend, and perpetually under-staffed.(If you just want time to yourself to pick out frames, however, this is a bit of an advantage.) I’ve also come here for my yearly eye exam, and things were quite hectic. It was nice that they were able to schedule me for a same-day appointment, and the lady who handled paperwork and initial screening did a great job managing a heavy load by herself. The optometrist, however, was gruff and distant, hardly saying a word through the whole exam. I tried to point out my history(dry eye and punctal plugs) since I wasn’t sure if I could wear contacts anymore, but was pretty much ignored. When I received my prescription, it was missing several measurements that were on last year’s script(from another doctor) for astigmatism and such, so I’m not sure if I want to spend the money on glasses that won’t work right. Next time I decide to get my eyes checked on a weekend, I’ll head to a different chain; I’ve had much better luck with Lenscrafters at Park Place, as well as Nationwide Vision.

This place is always swamped. Came in here twice now for my daughters contact exam. The doctors are great the retail floor however needs some adjustments. They aren’t fast for the demand that they have. Other than that not bad.
