Fanny’s Funhouse

DON’T EVER COUNT ON THIS CLOWN. She was hired a month in advance for my Grandson’s 5^th birthday party and I sent her a deposit of $ 50, which she cashed. The party was from 2:30 to 5:00. She was supposed to be there from 2:30 to 4:00. 2:30 rolls around and no clown. We started calling her at this point with no answer and we left several messages. 3:30 rolls around and still no clown. She did finally return our call saying that she blew a tire and was on the side of the road. I asked her where she was, as I was willing to go pick her up. She said «uh» about 5 times before giving me crossroads far away from my house. She said «I know I should have called, but…». If she was heading to our house to arrive at 2:30 and her tire blew out 40 minutes away that would have put the blowout at about 1:50. So, at 3:30 she was still on the side of the road? So, an hour and 40 minutes on the side of the road! And, she couldn’t bother to call us at 1:50? I would have picked her up at that point. Or, tried to find another entertainer on short notice. I told her it was unacceptable and she was THE highlight of my Grandson’s party. She said let me see if I can find another clown. Of course, she texts me a few minutes later and said she couldn’t find a clown and sorry. By the way, her puffed up website states that she is the «head clown/​owner» of Fanny’s Funhouse, obviously to give her unsuspecting victims the impression that there are more than one clown in the company. Obviously NOT. All the children at the party were waiting excitedly for the clown. How embarrassing for us and disappointing for the children, especially my Grandson. A clown has a responsibility to make sure she is either at a child’s party or has a back up clown in case of a «supposed emergency». Terrible, irresponsible human being. She needs to be blackballed by the clown community. 5 NEGATIVE STARS PLEASE.

I am 100% disappointed in this vendor. I ordered balloons to be delivered at a specific time and not only were they not delivered but my repeated phone calls, emails and text messages were ignored. I had to get a third party to call from an unknown number to contact the vendor for them to say that they had an «emergency» and couldn’t do it. This was nearly 4 hours PAST the scheduled delivery time. In addition I had someone come in to work on their scheduled day off just to be there for the delivery. This was irresponsible, unprofessional and unforgiveable. Seriously this was the least funny clown I’ve ever come in contact with.
Do NOT do business with this lady unless you feel like being super excited about a wonderful surprise then pissed off and stood up like an ugly girl on prom night.
