I had them refinish a few pieces. That’s about all they do… Is refinish! Don’t count on detail work. Something not square, not straight or warped. It’s not like I was asking them to rebuild the pieces. Don’t mind spending the extra, in order to have it done the way I had wanted. Too costly for the end product. I will say that the employees were professional and courteous.

Owning a moving and delivery company I have a need once or twice a year to repair a piece of furniture. In the past I had used a few different shops but all fell short in some part of the project.
Once you have damage on a job there are three priorities; Get the best result possible, get the job done as soon as possible and the price matters but this type of service cost money. I had dropped off two wood pieces that needed to be duplicated and stained the same at another shop and after two weeks all that shop did is raise the price 3 times, they never started the job and if I didn’t get it out of there and to Furniture Medic they would have wanted more money.
I made one call to these fine folks, dropped the pieces off a few hours later and got a call later that day with a price that was half of the other shop. They also told me that they would have it done and ready for pick up in less than a week and did.

Maternal Grandmother’s carved oak table that is about 100 years old was missing the extension leaves. Ordered 3 red oak leaves blanks from a catalog. Needed the pins and holes drilled. I was willing to refinish the leaves even if the edges did not match the table. Don came out and priced the work and included routing to match the original edge, staining and doing a finish on the three leaves. When we went to pick it up, the stain, finish, and routing matched the table perfectly. The price was was ¹⁄₃ or what some well advertised companies quoted. Work was completed as promised. Would highly recommend Furniture Medic by DB.
It is easy to find once you have their driving directions. Our GPS got us lost.

I needed to have an end table refinished recently and I found this shop while searching online. Their customer service is good and the repair was finished within a reasonable amount of time, on schedule, and at a fair price. My end table came back looking even nicer than when I purchased it.
This shop is a little tricky to find, I recommend you call them for directions.
