Very nice staff. Unorganized store. Very little, actually, quite a pitiful selection.

Has seriously gone downhill. We used to frequent this place like mad because they had great service and prices. However; things get worse each time we visit. My son even commented on how much less he gets for his trade-ins this year which demonstrates how cheap this establishment has become. We’ve always had the membership for Game Stop — yet today when asked if we’d like to renew — the associate told my son how much we would save by joining(as it was his money) and that essentially by buying the membership he would break even on his purchases — and the renewal would be free. When they recalculated after the membership — each transaction had a different total each time — all equalling several dollars more than the membership by itself and did not discount the total whatsoever. He also charged us refurbishing fees which was never discussed with us — and never did refurbish any of the discs. A line of 10 people continued to get more antsy as they tried to fix our concerns — never once apologizing to us — or the crowd. We cancelled the membership and were told if we wanted to try again this week to come back and they could adjust the receipt to what we really owed. Huh? Customer service was a zero from the word go and their practices were devious at best. I normally wouldn’t write a bad review(because I generally follow the ‘if you can’t say something nice’ directive) but who blatantly cheats children out of their money and then even when the parent intervenes… still offers no apology? What example is that to my child? A line has to drawn somewhere … The employee literally said from the beginning that Bookmans would give my son more value for his trade ins. We should have listened to the disgruntled slow moving incompetent employee it would seem. Ugh.

The staff here was really friendly to me, my wife and my stepdaughter. We bought several games including Battlefield 3 and Family Feud, which isn’t a game that gaming nerds can usually avoid making fun, but the girl at the counter was excited to see we bought it. She also heard me mention GTA V and voluntarily provided me with tons of info on it and this was before the gameplay trailer was released. Much better than the previous Software Etc location that was in Park Place.

Decent place to get a game or gift certificate. The staff is friendly and helpful. The parking lot is my biggest gripe, especially depending when you go. It seems to be always packed, except early days mid week.

I like Gamestop. They tend to have most any game I look for for the PS3. Adequate inventory is also in stock for the X-Box, Wii, and PC’s. It’s a chain, so I kind of expect all the stores to basically be clones. This one though is slightly different in a couple ways: 1) The staff seemed more… I don’t know… is the word I’m looking for ‘mature’? Being in my 30’s, I just felt a little more at home in this one than elsewhere. 2) The store seems to be much quieter than any other Gamestop that I’ve been to. Not sure if that’s just coincidental to when I’m here or what. Overall a good store with a good staff.
