First step in and I feel like I am dreaming, everything I remember from childhood. Sweet décor recalling some great moments in our generation’s history. Vintage clothing displayed prominently at the door, and organized shelving displaying the great toys of the 80’s and 90’s. Even the music was vintage to the era. The staff are knowledgeable and approachable. Striking up a conversation with the owner is a must. Amazing deals, great finds, and the nostalgic value. Generation Cool is a store I will keep going back to.

Whooooaaaa DUDE. This place is bangin. Hella dope. I wanna live here, work here, breathe, eat, and sleep here. A throwback to the 80s and 90s, Generation Cool is a shop by and for Generation Y. They’ve got everything you remember and MORE. Merchandise: –vintage clothes including: baseball tees, shorts, jerseys, t-shirts, etc. –baseball caps and trucker hats –pop culture and collectible items from 80s-90s –small trinket collectibles(think Happy Meal toys) –new clothing from Carne and Queso and Ain’t Nobody Cool –throwback shoes –accessories like heavy chains, sunglasses, belt buckles, etc. Arcade and Snack Bar: –back behind the merchandise section –top arcade games from back in the day like«Mortal Kombat II,» «The Simpsons,» and«NBA Maximum Hangtime.» –also has a snack bar for munchies on the go, I’ve heard there’s candy, but not sure what else –rumors of getting their liquor license? They’ve also got a setup for a DJ, several helpful and enthusiastic employees, and a crowd-full of interest. I bought a $ 15 red velvet fitted Boston Red Sox flat bill cap. I loved it the moment I saw it. and I swear they’re gonna have to bury me in it. Can’t wait to get back, chat up the owner, and try and convince him to teach me his savvy-sick 90s pilfering ways… so that I, too can revel in the memories of my childhood. And so that I can buy up all those sweet baseball tees he has in stock.

I wanted to buy everything in this store. They guy running it rules. He told us that one of the black-eyed peas had been in earlier today, and that the bike from peewees big adventure had sold on eBay for $ 36,000. His partner bid on it. Anyway. I regret not buying those Newport socks and that stussy drug rug.

First time here and it was like journeying back to my childhood. Lots of 90s memorabilia, funky vintage clothes, and some new items, some emblazoned with the«Generation Cool» logo. The Raisins, Simpsons, ET, Fievel, X Men, Cabbage Patch dolls, Pee Wee Herman, basically any pop culture character from that time, plus ones long forgotten. There’s an arcade with some of my favorite games and a snack bar stocked with junk food a 10 year old me would have died for. Cartoons are always playing on a flat screen, which is a great touch. I eyeballed a dj station made from Legos, which was in the process of being set up still. I’m looking forward to seeing how they incorporate live sets in the future. The staff is fun and friendly, like a bunch of big kids at home in their play land. This place is the stuff of a 90s kid paradise. I will be back to let my inner ten year old run loose, stock up on XMen figurines and to hit up the arcade. :)
