Hirsh’s Shoes

Have gone there for 30+ years. They are no longer a store for youth to get dance shoes. Rude and grumpy workers. Filthy dirty store that hasn’t been deep cleaned in years. No longer are they up on styles or knowledge of a fast paced dance world. Will GLADLY drive across town or online for dance shoes. Have given them too many chances over the years. No more!

Went to Hirsh’s last week, hoping to find a durable pair of orthopedic shoes that will handle my orthotics. Jeff, the salesperson was great. He was patient and helpful, not only measuring my feet and indicating that I really needed a size nine wide as opposed to the size 8 ½ regular that I’ve been wearing for years. But also, giving me great ideas about what type of shoe I needed.
All in all, it was a great shoe shopping experience. Sadly, I ended up returning the shoes I had purchase, but the return process was easy, no questions asked. I just need to continue my search for shoes that can handle my seriously high instep.

Wonderful experience! I broke my ballroom dance shoes just hours before I needed to wear them. They helped me find a replacement. They had excellent suggestions and knew what I was looking for. Even when they didn’t have my size in stock for a few styles, they brought out recommendations that I actually liked better. Excellent experience and a life saver. Great customer service and very reasonable. Would recommend to any dancer!

My Mother and I live in Green Valley and we went to the only shoe store in Green Valley (Sh ooze) and the woman working there could care less about helping us so we made the drive up to Tucson to Hirsch’s shoe store. We were helped by Jeff (an an older middle age man) and he was wonderful. Mom has a brace and we couldn’t find any other store in all of Tucson to help us the way Jeff at Hirsch’s did. He went out of his way to fit my mom and even helped my with my heel problem. We spent over $ 400 on shoes and inserts mostly because of the great service. Mom can walk again because of Hirsch’s. Good customer service is hard to find. I will pay extra for that alone. Green Valleys loss is Tucson’s gain! I will forever shop at Hirsch’s shoes!
