The place was clean, but looked a little worn. The floor definitely needed mopping around the soda station. As pointed out by others, the salsa bar is minimal — the usual red, green, taqueria avocado mixture and some toppings. I will say that the red had a great amount of heat, which is very welcome. The Jason burrito has carne asada, beans, cheese, cabbage and pico de gallo. It was enormous and well constructed. The meat had good flavor, but needed to be more tender. It was edible, but some of the pieces were quite chewy.

We had a $ 10 coupon to use tonight. They happily took the coupon. My husband had the Birria Soup. He really enjoyed it. I had the taco combo with shredded beef. It was fresh and very tasty. We shared a cheese quesadilla that was full of fresh melted cheese and came with beans and rice. Free refills of Coke products. The décor is rather plain but the food is not plain at all. We’ll be back for more.

The place was dirty and out of keep. I have been there before and it has never been this way. Tables not clean, food remains on the floor. The food was good though.

I’ve been here quite a few times since they opened and at first the food was great, but it seemed to decline with every visit. The final straw for me, and the reason I’ll never go back, is the fact that I found most of an eggshell in my burrito today. It wasn’t just a small piece, big chunks that wouldn’t be missed by attentive cooks. It really sucks because I’ve suggested this place to a good number of people and it’s only gotten worse.

It is very clean and nice. They are definitely shooting for a corporate franchise look. I did not find anything outstanding — good flour tortillas. Everything else was okay. The Strawberry Raspados we sub par. The ice cream seemed cheap. It lacked flavor overall. The salsa bar is just soso. A good basic fresh salsa and some nice onions with cilantro. Pleasant service. But nothing to compel me to come back.

This place has great breakfast burritos. And they do not take forever to make them. The food has great flavor and their menu is basic street food. I have had their tostadas, tacos, burritos(breakfast and regular), tortas, and most importantly the tostilocos. I have not been disappointed. The people that work here have also been very nice. I hope it sticks around.

Excellent service and taste. We came in here because I had read a review in one of the local papers. The menu has a nice variety and the staff is nice and willing to accommodate to your liking. The prices are good and the food comes out fresh. I ordered a birria taco and the meat was so juicy and tender. My husband ordered a taco salad and he got it with adobada beef and it was excellent. Overall we were very satisfied and glad we came in. Will definitely come back.

Came to try this location out with the fam. I frequent the truck on 22nd street and it’s always great. I wanted to introduce a raspado to my wife so we came by. We had tacos and Sonoran hotdogs but the salsa wasn’t as good as it is at the truck and neither was the birria. The girl who was tending the counter and running food was very VERY nice and was extremely informative in explaining the raspado to my wife. This place comes highly recommended and will return but do have a few things to brush up on. Overall good experience and another satisfied Sunday’s eats.

Just had a carne asade burrito. I couldnt finish due to being way way way way too salty. Meat was not tender i couldnt chew most of it. had to spit it out. I can tell someone here cares about quality but it definitely didnt translate to my burrito. extra star for the yummy tortilla. I will try again sometime after i forget this experience. Hopefully it wont bring back bad memories.

This restaurant has pretty standard Sonoran-style tacos, burritos, hotdogs, etc. The homemade tortillas have a nice flavor, and the salsa bar is well-stocked with many different types of salsa and vegetables. It looks like they either already have or plan to have ice cream and raspados as well. I like that they have been willing to accommodate me and make vegetarian tacos when I’m not hungry enough for a vegetarian burrito. I work in the area, and it is the only restaurant that isn’t a large chain within walking distance; it’s nice to know that on days I don’t bring a lunch I can head over to Jason’s.

Food was over priced and bland, watched them cook our food in the microwave then bring it to our table in a Styrofoam to go container which was cut in half, my food was in the top of the box and the his was in the bottom. I expected for it being a mexican restaraunt there would have been salsa available to add any flavor to the food but there wasn’t. The tacos were extremly greasy and the meat was supposed to be shredded beef but was so over cooked that it looked like chicken. It may have been chicken but there was to much oil to even taste it. Such a waste of money.
