Walking distance to the Courtyard Marriott Motel, this Jimmy Johns is one of the highlights in this godforsaken corner of Tucson. They make the sandwiches quickly, and just the quality is same as any other Jimmy Johns. And the kids working the joint were more polite and efficient than at most other fast food places. A 4 star experience if there ever was one.

Excellent service, quick and delicious, very attentive. Remembered me after only a small handful visits spread out over a couple months. Always smiling and generous. Clean behind the counter, in the dining area, and the bathroom. Good stuff Jimmy Johns!

Ordered food while visiting my old job, they got lost said they called but the front desk girl at work said no one called from jimmy johns. They arrived with my food 45 mins later after I called them and said«sorry driver got lost its on the way» no offers to fix the situation or anything. Once I received my food and sat down to eat my bread was soggy and nasty. Apparently all these commercials at 15min deliveries aren’t valid.

I came home one day to find a Jimmy John’s door hanger with a FREESANDWICH coupon attached. i studied the fine print, front and back and saw no restrictions on the sandwich. So one day after work I went to Jimmy John’s near my house. I walked in around 7pm and there were 4 – 6 employees at the front of the kitchen/counter area. As I walked in, they all looked at me. A young guy greeted me and asked what I’d like. I told him I needed a second since i hadn’t been there before. I decided on a turkey sub, no mayo. I asked if they had green bell peppers and they said no. Fine. I asked for extra turkey, which they obliged. When the guy rang me up, I told him I had a FREESANDWICH coupon. He told me he would have to charge me for the extra turkey. I asked him why, because the coupon said FREESANDWICH. I asked him where it said that. His only response was that he «had» to charge me like $ 2 or something like that. I paid him the two dollars in cash for the extra meat on my no-longer free sandwich. The cashier asked me where I got the coupon, so I told him on my front step. He told me, «That means we deliver to your house! You can get this sandwich delivered to you in the future!» Great. The sandwich itself was extremely, excruciatingly tasteless. It was like something out of a school cafeteria. I couldn’t believe how bland everything was. Ungh. Never returning, and disgruntled at the false advertising.

Better with salt and pepper. Today they put my order on the counter, 2 sandwiches and 2 chips I had 2 drinks in hand, when I ask for a bag he just put one on the counter next to my sandwichs said there you go and walked away.

I forgot to leave a follow up for this business since I called or wrote to give my complaints and I got $ 20-$ 30 in store credit to visit again by management and was very appreciative, so they made good on their mistakes:) Sorry this was a very long time ago and I’ve been without a computer for a very long time

Quality food and service! This is one of the better jimmy johns in Tucson for sure. The workers had a lot of energy and I was greeted at the door. The sandwiches were made fast and well! Definitely better than the quality of Park’s store.

Sandwiches are good, and it always amazing to see how fast they serve you. This store gets very busy at lunch time, with lots of deliveries. The staff really hustles to make sure everyone gets good service. That was impressive.

Just as advertised. Freaky fast! Never had to wait, by the time you finished paying, the sandwich is already waiting for you. Sometimes you can buy the bread from day before for cheap

Great experience for me. Good food. Clean dining area. One suggestion. Because music is loud in dining area customer couldn’t hear that their sandwich was ready when the girl called out for them. She called out two more times and the customer didn’t hear. Girl walked closer to customer and said your sandwich is ready and pointed back to the awaiting sandwich. Wouldn’t have been easier to have taken the sandwich to the customer???

We were so excited to finally eat at Jimmy John’s. Yawn… nothing exceptional. The one redeeming thing about the sandwich? They use Best Foods mayo and you can taste the difference! The shop itself, very disappointing! 4 people working behind the counter and all the tables were empty. Upon further inspection, it was because they were all dirty and the floors under the tables covered in sandwich debris. Yuck. Like all sandwich shops, I will give it a second try, in hopes they were just having an off day. Fingers crossed!

Wow! Another place I’m so happy to support. :-D Every time I’ve been here the staff has been friendly and efficient. I always feel better when I go in here because of how happy and excited and fun they seem(I know it’s part of the job, and I love that they have such great service here!) The staff almost always make me smile when I go in, which is truly appreciated. In a world full of poor customer service, this place really stands out! Plus their sandwiches are delicious and are usually ready really fast. I will keep going here unless they give me a reason not to… and I really hope that doesn’t happen. Thank you for your excellent work and service!

Last night we were in our hotel room looking for places that would deliver. According to Unilocal, certain places deliver but when we called it was not on the weekends or not that late. So I figured I’d try Jimmy John’s… I have to laugh ha ha, because they are freaky fast, it was delivered quick! And the sandwiches are always good at Jimmy John’s. So thank you, because I couldn’t exactly leave my hotel room with a sick baby and husband in the wheelchair!

This place gave me food poisoning! Was not a good day for me. This place is over rated and the sandwiches are bland. First and last visit ever. Enough said.

First visit to Jimmy Johns… and last! We’d heard good things and being a chain, we expected the same. Upon arrival, the place was empty, which was a little suspect. Ordered our food and were a little surprised that there was no salt or pepper in the entire store; the workers made it seem strange that we would ask for such an odd condiment on sandwich. As we were eating, we had the pleasure of watching one of the workers carry a toilet brush out of the bathroom like a torch, dripping as he went down the main aisle, right by our table. It was as he proceeded right by the sandwich making station through the kitchen that we decided to pack up and leave. Guess this was why the place was empty! Other than that, the food wasn’t bad, pretty much a homemade sandwich… nothing that resembled«gourmet».

Reminds me of Little Kings from Iowa. Be sure to ask for the thick cut bread if you want it otherwise you get the roll.

JJ’s is faster and more efficient than most sandwich shops because their corporately aggressive ad campaign tells me so. I know you can create an account and pick up your sandwich in record time as well. I find that JJ’s is only inconsistent when it comes to quantity of ingredients. My last reuben sported so much saurkraut that its profile looked like Bart Simpson’s hair. They are so generous with meat that I have actually removed enough to make a second sandwich later in the day. Last time I was there, a man behind me in line bought my lunch and hit on me which made me question the Broadway location(he was a well-dressed gentlemen, but still… uncomfortable). Fast, full, and fabulous. Can’t beat Jimmy John’s!

i don’t know what happened this past sunday but the freak fast place turned freaking slow on my wife and i … it took all of 30 mins to get two subs … not impressive … not at all I am worried the quality of the freaking freaky fastness has been downgraded at this store to … umm slow… i could have walked to get something more quickly! but i digress the sub was very good and the pickle very crisp… next time lets hurry up a little bit more. note to self — don’t be the first order of he day there lol

I wanted to update my complaints against Jimmy John’s. When I send an e mail to a business I usually get some kind of response, even a stock reply. Nothing here. Apparently they don’t care about customer feedback. Hell, even Taco Bell will respond to a complaint. From the great reviews on here, there was obviously something wrong with the store that day. They don’t care to respond or address the problem. Fine by me. My family eats a lot of subs. One shop’s loss is another’s gain.(My point in this update is simply telling what happens with Jimmy John’s if you complain. Nothing… which I find unacceptable, even from a sandwich shop.)

I cheated on that other sandwich joint when I had an affair with Jimmy John’s, and I don’t regret it one bit. Their bread is delicious, customer service is lickety split, and the store is clean with ample seating. AND they deliver. Dudes, it doesn’t get any better than this. Go for the veggie– you won’t be disappointed, it comes with avocado! Beware of the parking lot, it can get sketchy at night, but what else is new– it’s Tucson.
