Great food for sure! But pay cash. Like no joke. Ive gone to this place a few times and i swear 3 times i have had to do fraud claims on my credit card after going to this place. Someone here likes shopping on amazon with peoples cards. But seriously people the food is good but pay cash.

Good place for burritos. Their nachos used to be terrible, but I think there’s been a change in staff. We decided to try the carne asada nachos one more time. Glad we did! Plenty of cheese and meat. Fresh chips! Nice job!

It is a fast food Mexican place, not bad. Ok if you don’t want to cook but you don’t want Taco Bell. Not a place to take out of town guests if they want mexican food Good Salad bar, the kids love the pickled carrots. You shouldn’t expect anything more from these places. Better then Los Betos.

Food is ok, but be careful about you debit card! They handed me back a different card than my own wrapped in my receipt and not thinking, I placed it back into my jacket pocket went home ate my food and went to bed, the next morning realizing it was missing I checked my bank account and over 300 $ was spent out of my account ! I went back and they all pretended no one knew english, and the manager lied about not being there and hid behind the horchata machine until I called him out and told him I knew he was the manager and could see him… Super unprofessional and shady

Above-average Mexican fast food and an absolutely tremendous hangover cure, Julioberto’s seems to have a freshness that Nicos and other similar establishments lack. I remember always being able to finish Cassie’s thoughts when it came to ordering from here(«Geez, wake up already, and – » «GOGETJULIOBERTO’S!»). While I was able to taste many of the delicious items that Cassie didn’t finish, my personal favorite are the fish tacos. Their fish tacos combo are a thing of beauty – I called it the Cassie combo(even though she hated fish and reminded me every time I said it – LOL!). The fish is lightly-battered and perfectly-crunchy, enveloped in a zesty tartar sauce – and the best part… NOTGREASY. The meal elevates to a new level of awesome when you combine their signature red and green salsa with the beans and rice. It didn’t look like much(Cassie said it looked like the physical manifestation of how she felt about my parents! LOL, like my parents are that delicious), but wow, it is a hearty, cheesy, spicy treat. Friendly note: When ordering the fish tacos combo, get two, because if your significant other is anything like Cassie, they’ll take it from you because it’s so good! But hey, like Cassie’d always say, «Maybe having your food taken isn’t a bad thing; skip a couple meals a week, and maybe you’d look as good as your friend Rick!» While Rick may look good, he’s missing out on Tucson’s best fast Mexican food. Big portions, small prices, and flavor great enough to stop Cassie from complaining for a little bit!

Want something huge and filling? Is it late or early? Are you on the northwest side? Not too picky and not much money? This is the place for you! I’ve never had a bad experience… and I guess that is good. The nachos are kinda epic, but everything else is about the same as the other taco shops.

I don’t mind the place the only thing that bugs me is that the cashier told the cook that the burrito is to big you have to make it smaller that dumb since your paying 5 $ for a burrito you should get a good size burrito

It’s open late and well, that’s about where the positives end. We’ve always used the drive-thru when coming here and every single time our order is messed up. It wouldn’t be a big deal if it weren’t for my complete and utter hatred of onions. Onion taste, onion-y smell, etc. Well, everytime I’ve gotten a combo from here, everything tastes, smells, and is covered in onions. It’s pretty overwhelming and just leaves me feeling sick. The times I’ve grabbed a breakfast burrito at 1am have been fine, but I keep it to that now because the other stuff makes me gag. My husband said that his food is normally fine, nothing spectacular, but fine nonetheless. He was unable to finish the pollo asado burrito he wound up getting because as he put it, it was just too salty. I figured it must have been bad because he(unfortunately) adds salt to everything. He had originally ordered fish tacos but they waited until we were at the window to tell us they were out. I guess this is what we get for ordering quite literally, last minute. It’s fine when nothing else is open, which after 9pm in Tucson is pretty standard. Otherwise, go elsewhere.

Run Away! I ordered the Carne Fries, meat was dry left out all day and fries was soaked in oil. First time i thought it was just a fluke so i went again about 2 weeks later out of laziness and it was terrible again. How do you mess up carne and fries i dont know but this place did twice. I threw both plates in the trash and just swallowed the $ 15 oh well you live and you learn.

Prices higher than Betos, tortillas lack flavor and the guacamole doesn’t taste fresh — tastes like the frozen stuff from Costco! This place is a disappointment although their location is good.

Yuck and yuck! I have had the tacos and carne asada there. Positive: cheap food Negative: this place is a grease bucket. Don’t get me wrong I love me some nicos or betos and was thinking this place can’t be much different… boy was I wrong. Yuck! The burrito was full of hard pieces(I am not even sure what could of been hard, over cooked meat?), the tacos were so greasy I can only think they were dipped in a bucket of grease then plated. Won’t ever eat here again.

For great Mexican fast food… This place rocks… The Arizona Burrito is the best I’ve had in Tucson… and the fresh salad bar is awesome… Try the green & red salsa mixed… yum!

One of the better breakfast burrito’s I’ve found on this side of town. Ask them to throw in the pork green chili. Its not as greasy as other places and they have fairly decent hot sauce/salsa. As for their lunch diner menu it’s fairly expansive and the items I have had are made with fresh ingredients and portions are huge for the price you’re paying.

I agree with Rachael about soda machine but the food beats out nicos! Try the shredded beef tacos and you’ll be coming back for more!(Eat them right away when they are hot for the most crunch)
