Really, how could one not give a public library five stars? The Kirk-Bear Canyon library is no exception. Though situated in a strip mall, it bears an inviting entrance, plenty of ambient light, ample seating, along with conference rooms and public computers. I especially like the wall area in the nonfiction area that is set aside for art displays, as a lot of good local art has been on display here. Overall it is an inviting place to browse and read for a spell or work on your next Unilocal review. The staff is friendly and helpful. I only wish there were more books, but I guess that is the result of funding. This library, like most, deserves our support and patronage. Note: You can’t eat or drink here, but there is a Dairy Queen next door!
