South Tucson’s Kool Smiles is a 5 star dental care office. All the staff is happy, pointing to great management, and the dental services are topnotch! Also, being an adult, all the children I see there are happy and at ease. I highly recommend this Kool Smiles for its pediatric and adult dental care. I would give it six stars but there are only five.

I will never take my children to this office again. I am tired of the unprofessionalism of the staff at the front office. This isn’t the first time the lie about why I am taking my children in on the insurance paperwork. They argued about my daughters «symptoms» while she was listening to everything and she is a cancer patient so she definetly doesn’t need anything else to worry about.

I’ve been bringing my children here for a couple of years now. They have a clean play area for the kids to play on while they wait. My kids actually look foward to going to the dentist because of the play area. Since we’ve coming here they’ve must have upgraded the play area at least 3 times. That’s a good thing because kids get bored easily.
The staff is always really nice and explain to both the parent and child what they’ll being getting done. You have the option of going back w/​your child for the cleaning or if their enough they can go alone, and your able to watch through a 2 way mirror.

It’s nice that they have a play area for kids to play while they wait in the cattle coral area that could use a good cleaning. Once you’re back there the hygienists don’t seem to enjoy their job OR CHILDREN and are short with them. All the weird signing of papers to show that they did tell you your child was seen was strange and I’ve never seen that before. The dentist was very nice and related to my child really well and explained each step. Overall, it was like I was taking my child to Walmart to get a dental exam. Lesson learned.
