Living in the Southside of Tucson, there is a lot of competition for meat markets to win the Carne Asada BBQ’s vote and this place is so-so. Now Im not rating based on location which s tad bit scary here — very dark location– but more on what was available. There was fresh salsa, meat, tortillas, canned beans and some other grocery items. But there were no fresh fruits and veggie, like lemons, limes, cilantro, etc. I didnt see any fresh guacamole either. Oh and the meat names were written in English that was new for me. No fresh pan birote(bread) which is one of my favorites to find at a carniceria. Oh and no Chicharrones either. The chuck steak marinated was good. Again it was the lack of other items that may steer me elsewhere next BBQ.
