I hired Mad Science Tucson office to perform a show for my son’s 5-year-old Birthday party, but NOBODY showed up. It is a terrible experience. I reserved the show more than 3 weeks in advance and confirmed with them two days before the party. But nobody came to perform the show. I made numerous phone calls and left messages, but couldn’t get into touch with anyone in their office. The party was on Saturday. Nobody responded my messages and emails until the following Tuesday when I finally called their headquarters in Canada. Seems that the owner of the Tucson franchise was scheduled to do the show. He didn’t want to do it and said he would talk to another person to perform the show. Obviously he forgot to talk to the person. I invited over 60 guests including 15 kids. I had to keep apologizing to my guests that the show highlighted in my invitation letters would not happen. Mad Science was supposed to bring me the goodie bags during the show. My husband had to leave the party, rushing to stores to put together some goodie bags for the kids. My son was so disappointed. I had hoped the party would be a special memory for my family, but it was turned into a mess due to the irresponsible behavior of Mad Science. All the stress, rush, embarrassment and disappoint are just not what we had expected. Customers are willing to spend hundreds of dollars for their show service because the customers have some important occasion that they want to make it special. Obviously, Mad Science doesn’t attach the same importance to customers’ special occasions. Otherwise, such a schedule error would be impossible to happen. They also lack the basic capability and professional ethics to run an entertainment service company. Otherwise, how can they not to respond my numerous messages days after the incident. I would not recommend its service to anyone. Your occasions to celebrate are too precious to be put on the hands of such irresponsible company as Mad Science.
