I have been going to see Aysha for 4 years, ever since I moved to Tucson. She listens well and asks the right questions to make sure I get the cut I want. A selling point for me was free bang trims because I used to cut them myself to save money, but they look way better when she does it. I highly recommend her!

I have to say I was a bit worried when I went in for my hair cut. I use Unilocal often, since moving here, but didn’t for hair cuts. Let’s just say I had some bad cuts.
I asked for Melody since there was a positive review about her being great at cutting short hair.
Not only did she have to cut my hair, she had to fix the previous bad cuts. I walked out feeling so much better. My hair is close to looking normal again and I don’t feel covering my head any more. She knows what she is doing and is a true «hair artisan»!Thanks so much Melody!

I very much miss one of the best hair stylists I’ve ever had, Aysha. She moved here to Mane Street a few years ago from Phoenix, and I was lucky enough to be one of her first clients in the Tucson area. I referred all of my friends to her, and now she’s so busy she is booked weeks in advance. She listens to what you want– even telling you when you told her something different on the last visit– you know, for when you get those «wild hairs» and think about chopping off what you’ve been growing out for the last 5 years? She was like– uh, no, but if you tell me you still want to cut it next time I will cut it off. She was right, and I am so glad she listened to what I meant and not what I said. Mane Street is a busy, friendly little place with an aesthetician, quite a few chairs, and a nice staff. Highly recommend.
I did have a bad extension job here once, but the guy that did it is long gone.

I get my hair cut and colored here by Carol. She is not only terrific at cutting and coloring hair, but she is reasonably priced. I like the salon staff too. They are very friendly and helpful.

If you have short hair and are looking for a new stylist, Melody is your girl! She being a artist and your hair the canvas you can’t feel anything but beautiful when you leave the salon!

The establishment is tucked away in the shopping center by Trader Joes. The business is owned by Kim and she is wonderful, funny and outgoing. My stylist is Melody and she has been cutting my hair for the past three years. I like that she is a perfectionist and takes painstaking time to do an incredible job. I also like that she is so personable and we can chat and banter one another making the time in the chair just pass by unnoticed. Cost is very reasonable (under $ 25). Over the years I’ve seen some of the work on her female clientele and was impressed by the transformation she can create (cuts, color, style, etc.). The location also does pedicures, manicures, and massages.
If you’re new to town or not happy with your current salon, stop by and give Mane Street a visit. The entire staff is talented and fun!
