We stopped by Mattress Firm to purchase a mattress and bed frame for my brother. As a student at U of A, he was looking for a quality purchase at a quality price. Randy was awesome — he understood our needs and showed us several options that didn’t break our budget. All of the items we purchased were in stock at the warehouse, where we picked up our items later that afternoon. It was an easy and painless process! We would highly recommend Randy and his staff!

Had an AWFUL experience at this store with the rudest and most pushy salesman I have ever encountered.
The guy was really nice– until we tried to leave without buying the mattress (it’s a big purchase, I wanted to make sure I looked at all my options). He leaves two other customers waiting to block our way out and tells us to not bother looking anywhere else ‘we own everything anyway.’ Would not take no for an answer, I had to tell him TWICE very firmly that we are not buying a mattress that day. In the past 6 months, I’ve moved back the U.S. and I’ve bought a car, leased an apartment and bought all new furniture. This was by far the pushiest salesman I encountered. He seemed incredibly offended that we would leave his store without buying something!
We went over to R&S Mattress (which is an Arizona company) and bought a mattress after 10 minutes for less than I would’ve paid at Mattress Firm (or any of the other stores they own). Pushy sales techniques don’t work, especially when I can use the Internet to find out you’re lying.
Maybe not all of their salespeople are awful– but I’d rather support a local business and not the big bad corporation trying to control the market by buying everything!

We visited the Mattress Firm with no intention to actually purchase a mattress on that visit. Wayne was the salesperson who helped us, and he was extremely professional, informative and helpful — so much so that we ended up buying a Tempurpedic and adjustable base before we left. Wayne was thorough, but did not pressure us, showing us the selection of mattresses that met our needs and answering all of our questions. We are very pleased with our purchase and would definitely recommend The Mattress Firm and Wayne.

I stopped in just before I moved to the Midwest to do some research and decide how much to budget for a new bed. I was hoping to avoid the staff after having dealt with many salesmen over the years, so I made it clear that I wasn’t going to be purchasing a bed in Tucson. Randy was working and I told him my situation. He wasn’t selfish at all with his extensive knowledge of the bed industry and provided many helpful hints for me to keep in mind when I went bed shopping in Chicago. He led me around the store explaining the differences among all the makes and models. He even taught me how to test a bed for healthy back support.
When I went shopping for a bed two weeks later I felt completely confident and the insider info that Randy so generously shared gave me the confidence and knowledge to negotiate the price down $ 200 with a free frame and free delivery!
I never expected the level of service Randy provided, even if there was a potential sale. Thanks Randy!
