McDonald’s

On 11÷8÷15, I waited in the drive-​thru from 3:25am to 3:50am. That’s a 25 minute wait. After she took my money, she says, «We’re waiting on your fresh fries». And I said, «You gotta be kidding me because that’s what you told the car ahead of me!» And she put the biggest smirk on her face like she was enjoying the slow service people were getting. All the other reviews are spot on. The service is slow, the workers can be cold, your order is usually wrong and food can be cold to lukewarm by the time you get it. I wish they would tear this place down and leave it torn down. I’ve learned my lesson. From now on, I’ll be going through the Taco Bell drive-​thru because my experience there is just the opposite of this McDonalds. Finally, the late night employees have learned not to give you a receipt so you can’t leave them the negative review they deserve.

I’ve never waited so long for McDonald’s. It’s almost been 40 minutes. If I wasn’t so fat, I’d be out of here.

AWFUL!!! SWEET TEA… No I had to ask for sugar. My son wanted a hamburger extra pickles we get a double cheeseburger. No receipt, had to ask. Our order: Two sweet teas & the hamburger. Yeah, I know it was such a complicated order. Good luck people. McD on INA/​Thornydale one is on their A game. Not returning here.

I just recently went to this location since its renovation and let me say, WOW! The previous store was a scary location with food always cold and not a good setting either, the employees would fight and the food always stale. HOWEVER, this update really took a turn for the better! It seems as though the employees are all new, and they were sooo kind and professional and worked quickly! The store on the inside gives a warm feeling (although I do miss the wildcat UofA theme) with all new seating and menu boards and even the prices went down slightly and it now has two drive through lanes. Best McDonald’s location in tucson!

It’s a McDonalds, so one should not expect much. A fast coffee in the morning, a quick bite to eat on the way somewhere. But this particular McDonalds is the worst on both accounts. They tore it down and rebuilt it and now it’s worse than ever. The customer service totally sucks and it takes forever to get served. They will get your order wrong and they will overcharge you, no doubt about it. Or you will be waiting by the cash register and they will just ignore you until you say something. I work nearby and used to come here because it was convenient but not anymore. Blech stay away until they get new management! You have been warned

Great service and got my food pretty quickly. The staff was very nice as well and the lobby was very clean. I’d definitely return.

Wowwww took 10min for 2 cheeseburgers… Unacceptable for a ‘Fast Food’ restaurant when u have only 3 customers. This location should be called ‘SuperSlowFood’ I mean even In a rush there is no way u should be waiting that long for 2 regular plain cheeseburgers… And then I brought it to the manager who was on duty, Christian, and he did not have any inclination to apologize for the wait or try to make the consumer feel better, he just kind of had a deer In headlights look. I mean u are suppose to always make the customer happy so u can have repeat customers… He needs to go back to Hamburger U or something… If a customer is unhappy u apologiz fix it give them a coupon… Something. He did not do anything and just kinda looked lost. Idk. But like I said 10min for 2 cheeseburgers is crazy. And the girl takin orders was out of uniform with no name tag and she kinda seemed lost. If u are the cashier u suppose to be bubbly energetic upbeat sociable friendly nice… Nope she just seemed lost too

Hello, I’m the Critic Guru! «I’ve been there and done that» and today I would like to take a moment of silence for this McDonald’s location. Not because it’s closed for remodeling, no something far worse! What could be worse? The keyword being «remodeling» why would the franchise owner take the liberty of spending $ 350 thousand to remodel a classic historical U of A restaurant that has been serving Tucson since the mid 60’s. All the memories and the welcoming looks of the Old McDonald’s will be replaced by an ugly conglomerate box looking bulding. If the owner wanted to invest this much in remodeling he should have remodeled the inside like the Grant & 1^st location. I’m thankful that there are still a few McDonald’s franchise owners & locations that welcome and respect the elder generation of customers, but an entire overhaul is really unnecessary. R.I.P. Classic McDonald’s, Hellllllo Burger King & Wendy’s!!!

I am so sorry to see this remodeled, we’ve been eating here for years! It’s McDonald’s true, but it’s open 24 hours and is on my husband’s way home from work. Sometimes I’m up late and a simple double cheeseburger and fries is what I crave! If it’s really late then a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. The service has always been great here and the food is always fresh. I look forward to them re-​opening later this summer although I’m sad to see the old building go!

The tables were filthy, the manager was cussing with the staff, and they don’t need your PIN! They just run the card through, no questions. So if you ever steal a card here’s the place to go!
Food was fine. I have a tetnus shot, so it’s all good.

Takes literally 20 minutes to go through the drive. The later it is the busier get and the less people are working.
Once I even saw a roach in there on the floor and when I told the manager no one did any thingthey just kind of laughed it off. Definitely would not recommend this McDonald’s would give it one star but the fries are pretty good.

I’m not hear to review mcdonalds in general, I think most people have their own opinion. As someone who has gone to quite a few Tucson locations this one is pretty good. They keep it clean, the overnight staff isn’t pissed off that ur there at 3 am. Access is ok, u can only get to it from west bound on speedway but it’s a nice place all in all.
